Mostly up and down the Ithaca hills in start-stop traffic. (The hills are such that the friction brakes are used regularly -- and I have to accelerate up a steep grade from a dead stop, routinely.)

I do not skimp on heating, either. A lot of that usage is the heat, whch is quite a substantial percentage of the energy usage on stop-start short trips around town. (I've seen it floating at 5 kw on the dashboard wattmeter with the car sitting still.) I love having the heat on instantly, however -- in gasoline cars, we'd generally be at our destination before the heat started working. A big improvement in comfort.

Should also mention, Dec. 3rd is my official 2 year anniversary with the car. So I'll be right at 22,000 miles average per year. I don't think I drove over 20,000 in any given year with my Prius. So much for being "limited" with an EV!!

Awesome! I just clicked 44K on Dec 8th (my two year anniv). Yes, I am totally satisfied with the range "un"limitations.

Also interesting that your still getting 182 rated on what I'm assuming is a 90% charge. I was at that level this summer but since the weather has cooled I'm only getting 175-176. I'm guessing you range charge more than I do, with the mileage your putting on, so maybe my pack is a bit out of balance.

I usually get about 183 miles on charge complete @90%, but drops a bit when it gets real cold out. I haven't done a range charge recently. Its been a couple months since my last road trip.

I haven't posted in a couple months -- this adds Oct, Nov & Dec data...

October was my best individual month… It was a mild month, so didn't need to use A/C. I also mostly drove the speed limit to 5 over (instead of mostly 5 over)… Nov and Dec were similar, although I drove 5 over a bit more. Dec started to see the impact of heating the car -- it cooled off the last week or so and the heater was on more frequently, with more recent days in the 280s…)
