Interesting to hear. I found some people on reddit who had this happen to them too with white interior. At least this means that they DO plan on producing a car for you soon (hopefully). I really hope they make it up to those who got changed. That is really frustruating.I can confirm that my wheels were changed and I had white interior as well.
Same with the forums .90% of the stuff Tesla salespeople tell you is just flat out wrong.
Don’t want no 19 wheels, did not order them for a reason. If Tesla makes me miss the tax credit, either give me a cash discount or give me free FSD, which technically is higher price, but from cash flow perspective does not cost them anything.
Nope. Different -> tire size & type, ride quality, comfort level, noise level, efficiency, etc.I don't understand, isn't the difference between the 19" sport wheels and 18" aero wheels just....the wheels?

Oh okay. As far as actual production goes, there could be inventory issues. And AFAIK there is wheel size change necessary in the UI, no big deal at all.No, I meant in terms of how they are producing the cars. Everything about producing a car with 18" wheels vs 19" wheels I would assume is the exact same.
Awesome! Refresh our minds again, when was your order date and when did you receive your VIN?
can you share the last 6 digit of your vin?I ordered 5/18 and my VIN has appeared and disappeared a couple different times on my account. I think it has been on there consistently since 6/2.

Okay. So Tesla called me about the 19" wheels. They said that they made more of that configuration than the 18" aero versions so they will do a free upgrade to 19" wheels and get my car before the end of the month didn't really do a solid guarantee but they mentioned that there was a very slim chance if I changed to 18" aero now that I would get it before the end of the month.
They said the discount will be reflected during the final paperwork.
I'm through pasadena store as well. Ordered May 22, White/black, aero, FSD. Nothing yet other than sales chap figures they are making a batch this week.Yes the image changed. That was what tipped me off.
When you say Tesla called who called was it your sales advisor or someone from corporate or someone from delivery?
I emailed my sales advisor and she cant figure out and she said it was some kind of glitch. I'll take the 19 for free.
I'll call and talk to her in person next time to see if this offer is true.
What store are you working with? I'm working with Pasadena store.
Most people I think who get an adviser are people who went into the store. I talked with someone over the phone while ordering online so I kinda just kept in touch with that guy. Usually you can just get a point of contact with someone, then continue talking to that same person for updates so there is more consistency. Try calling your closest SC since they'll be handling your delivery. Just ask for direct contact info, I've heard people texting their contacts for updates and stuff. How do you guys have advisers? I've yet to be contacted by anyone since I placed my order on the 27th. Any time I have a question I call and go through the automated system to get to someone. Once I get a VIN, do I get an adviser or specialist at that point?
I end up talking to a different person every time I call and it makes it a little tough to get consistency when one day someone says he can pretty much guarantee I'll have the car by June 30th, and then the VERY NEXT DAY someone different tells me that she's "not very confident" in that goal.

I agree. I don't want the 19 inch wheels either.
Today, I received the "Prepare for Your Model 3 Delivery" email from Tesla. No VIN yet. They changed the delivery location from my home address to one of the pickup locations which is what I requested initially. I called and talked with an advisor at my local Tesla store yesterday. He felt strongly that I should have a VIN by the Friday. He requested that I call back on Friday if I have not received one.
