So I accidentally downloaded 2023.7.10 last night because I turned on my wifi hotspot for my husband to use while we were having a picnic and the car hopped onto that and downloaded the update I've been ignoring because it didn't offer what I wanted (and others get.)
I really didn't want 11.4.2 but we now have it (he did the install after we got home). What I really want is the larger font and scroll wheel control options.
To me it is crazy that the only way to get the updates that I want is to withdraw fully from the FSDb program (after paying $10K to get in it) because the non-FSD people get the UI improvements and the rest of us are left with FSDb(ollocks) and nothing worth updating for. We've learned our lesson and made the car forget my hotspot so this won't happen again.
But while I do understand why there may be different download streams for FSD and non FSD, I don't understand why there are dramatically different UI features that one group gets and not the other. That makes no sense to me. I understand new features may not immediately roll out but it has been about 3 months AND 2 updates to FSDb. It hasn't been 2 weeks and I'm not asking them to push out a new update just for the UI. But they've had plenty of time and updates to repair part of my relationship with the effing UI.
