Just noticed that the range and 0-60 times have been updated for the 3/Y on the design studio. I'm guessing the SR updates are due to LFP pack and the others look like they are updated to reflect true (more accurate EPA rated) range with selected wheels.

Previous Range/ 0-60Updated Range/ 0-60
Model 3 SR+ (18")/(19")262 mi. / 5.3s(272 mi. / 5.8s) / (267 mi. / 5.8s)
Model 3 LR AWD (18")/(19")353 mi. / 4.2s(358 mi / 4.2s) / (334 mi. / 4.2s)
Model 3 Performance 20"315 mi. / 3.1s315 mi. / 3.1s
Model Y LR AWD (19")/(20")326 mi / 4.8s(330 mi. / 4.8s) / (318 mi. / 4.8s)
Model Y Performance 20"303 mi. / 3.5s303 mi. / 3.5s

whoa...5.8?

That's downright pokey for a Tesla....

And I see they're still doing their BS "We measure times differently for the P but don't tell anyone that to make the LR seem slower than it really is in comparison" thing.
Surprised LFP impacted acceleration so much since I don't remember them being so much slower for MiC LFP packs - if I remember correctly it was 5.6s vs 5.3s for M3SR+.

Yea, they really should include a 0-60* (with rollout) for P cars.
Probably something to do with the 82kwh batteries. Notice the P range didn’t change - they be been built for at least 6 months now with the bigger battery.
The 82kwh packs were showing up as early as May, 2021 on LR variants so I don't think that entirely explains P's lower range.

Additional updates for MY7 seater added:

Also of note, it looks like Tesla has renamed the SR+ to just "Model 3". I always thought the SR+ naming was a little out of place without the SR available. It's also probably more of a reflection that the current 272mi. is much closer to the 'standard 300mi.' benchmark Elon has talked about than the original 240mi. range was.

Looks like there are new ranges listed for the Model 3 SR+ and LR in the USA. Could this be an indication of new builds being 2022 model year cars?
SR+ shows 272/267 miles (18” Aero/19” Sport)
LR shows 358/334 miles (same as above)
Performance still shows 315 miles (20” Überturbines)

Also interesting to see the 19” Sport wheels only knock 5 miles off the SR+ range, but 24 miles off the LR.

I'm assuming this is the larger LFP battery pack first seen in Germany (Tesla website in Germany hints at Model 3 Standard Range Plus (SR+) with larger battery coming soon). I don't believe it's the NCA -> LFP change that's causing this (current Fremont LFP SR+ are listed at 5.3 and some say it's FASTER than the NCA SR+ listed at 5.3; especially at lower SOC). The 5.6s you reference is a 0-100kmh. It's believed that the 980 (performance) motor is used to compensate for the extra weight resulting in the same 5.3s performance.
This 5.8s is likely the larger battery pack first shown in Germany and perhaps they went back to the 990 motor? Or did they keep the same MIC LFP battery and used the 990 motor for increased range/lower performance with a software optimization for range vs speed? Must be a significant change to add 0.5s to the 0-60...
In any case, this is great, I would prefer a heavy 5.8s 272mi LFP vs my lighter 5.3s 263mi NCA (<500mi <1 month anyone want to trade?)

Just wondering - what changed about the M3 LR? Was there any actual update?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say what's really happened here is Tesla got more specific detailing different configurations whereas before it was likely a blanket range number based on the ideal configuration (aero wheels) not taking into account wheel options. But who really knows, just speculating.

I'm current waiting for a model 3 LR to ship. Debating whether I should cancel it and place a new order if it's the updated version...
