There’s been a lot of talk about the Michelin Primacy MXM4 Tesla’s model 3 OEM tires wearing down faster then usual, I just checked all 4 tires with the measuring tool and the 2 rear are just touching the yellow so I believe 5/32. These are the original tires March 30th 2019. 18” Aeros. You can see in the pictures that there is a lot left at over 20,000 miles, good wear all around on all 4 tires and these tires have never been rotated. I like the Continentals Procontact RX so far on the model Y but I will have a review on those next year June 2021. Let me know what you guys think and if you had to replace your MXM4 already.

Standard Range Plus, I keep it on Chill mode, Standard Regen on city streets and Low Regen on highways. Tire PSI 46 cold and 50 hot.

I don’t slam the car, but I guess at 20,600 Mille I will rotate the tires this weekend, it’s a good time to check the torque on the spacers.

Primacys were 236wh/mi lifetime when they were replaced. Since switching to PS4S, averaging about 270wh/mi. Aeros with covers off. To be fair, i replaced the tires at the beginning of quarantine, so most of the driving on the PS4S has been at higher speeds.

I mentioned in a previous thread I had 9K on the car when the tires were down to the wear bars. I forgot that I put around 3K of those with winter tires. The winter tires were new, and won’t be good for another season. So I’m thinking twice the life of snow tires isn’t terrible for an all season. Aside from wet asphalt, they’re pretty decent tires given how little they wear. This is kinda the lower bar for what you should expect for road use, it’s full throttle every light and corner exit.
