So basically more to come on this from Tesla even if I haven't selected a preference up front? You find out once you're in your window and they reach out to schedule delivery. We've been seeing a lot of odd changes with that. By that I mean we've had people that Tesla switched their pick up location and even a few that chose a location and then Tesla delivered to their home.
Most are completed at the center they originally chose but anything is possible. They'll provide all of that info via text, the app or if you call.So basically more to come on this from Tesla even if I haven't selected a preference up front? I just reached out to Tesla via the chat function on the website. The person I was chatting with said that they can't see what I chose for a delivery location, so they have to get my assigned SA to reach out to me. Kind of strange that information like that isn't available to all of their service agents. Most are completed at the center they originally chose but anything is possible. I’m not that tech savvy when it comes to this, how does one begin this to check the source code?insurancef <<-- is what you're searching for.

Slightly noticeable. He has very good hearing and the sound proofing material only cost him $12 from Amazon. He’s installing the wind noise kit today.Did it make a noticable difference?
If you use Chrome, there is an extension that checks the VIN for you. It worked great for me. If not, find a way to view the page source and do a Find for ‘insurance’. I found it easier to just use the extension.I’m not that tech savvy when it comes to this, how does one begin this to check the source code?
Still though I’m shocked you didn’t get a VIN yet. I would have bet money you would hear something today.Maybe they just can’t believe someone in Arizona wants Black Paint! LOL
I just flip on the breaker and watch the brief light show. Very entertaining. Then I flip the breaker off until next time.Inching closer to everything I need to do prior to getting the car…. Just installed the wall charger. I’ll just stare at it or something….
When on your order page (showing your date range), hold ctrl and press U. It should open a new tab (or window) with the source code page. Hold ctrl and press F once that opens to open the “find” menu. Then search for “insurancef” (without “”), and if you have a vin it should be listed just after the insurancef.I’m not that tech savvy when it comes to this, how does one begin this to check the source code?
5yj or insurancef. But u can install the extension called "Tesla vin finder" on your Chrome. That will automatically find the vin itself when you load up your ordering page.Thanks. I guess I will keep checking the source code. I’m using the chrome checker.
When you check with the source code, what text are you searching?
You could update your signaturegot an EDD update now May 30 to June 13, last EDD was May 27 to June 24

definitely inconsistent, because i replied to original text i received from tesla and they were able to tell me what service center i will be picking up from once i am assigned a delivery date.I just reached out to Tesla via the chat function on the website. Seems to be a huge communication disconnect within Tesla.
Nope…. I’m 3/6 and got pushed to another 4 week window today -_-OD 3/27 have they started giving out more vin to people in California or even the west coast period ?
