Ironically I did as well. Only speculation, but I'm guessing what finally did it for me was either a- going to the SC yesterday and asking the service manager if/when I could get the update or b- leaving the car connected to wifi by itself (kicking everything else off the network) for the entire night.

I had tried leaving it connected all night a couple of times, but with other MACs on the network and/or the car would disconnect after going into sleep mode. I noticed this time it was still on the network when I checked it this morning.

Downloading v9 now, fingers X'd.

I received 39.7.1 last night. With a short 30 minute drive everything seemed pretty stable to me. It looks like most of the complaints that I have read on here appear to have been fixed.

Last night version 36.2 update to 39.7.1, installed without problems. Just tried the web browser & plugged in my TeslaCam USB drive.
Vin 65xxx.

I have 84k and no V9 update to date. Does anyone know how long it generally takes for the entire fleet to receive this level of update?

There is no general schedule or timeline. Tesla rolls it out as they feel it is ready and that they have resolved the issues that concern them. It can be weeks or months.

Had 39.7 for a week, started out great but for the last 3 days no EAP, autodimming headlights or auto wipers. Waiting on Tesla for next step. Tried all the usual reboots and screen refresh. Sometimes fixes it but for the next drive only.

You don't have to be, but you are likely to get the update sooner if you are.

WiFi will disconnect when the car is asleep but Tesla can wake the car up when there is an update ready. At that point, WiFi will reconnect and download the update.

Has anyone received a second two week trial for EAP?? My car was trying to install but it never completed.. Wondering if Tesla is trying again to push the EAP after the update...

I just had this exact thing happen to me as well. Had a notification pop up about the free trial installing and then nothing...

They have a page with the latest release notes. To access it to go My Tesla, click on the 3, and "Software Updates"

There is a bug. I had to reboot to get the "Release notes", on more than one occasion.

I've been struggling to get my Google Calendar to display on the screen. I think I've finally "broken the code:" For me, the key was to recognize that Tesla draws calendar data from the calendar app built-in to the iPhone, not the Google calendar app. However, one can instruct the built-in app to add other calendars to itself, which then get linked to the Tesla. (I believe that each individual Google calendar (e.g. business, personal) has to be made known to the built-in app). Then, the Tesla screen updates as soon as the iPhone (with its iPhone calendar) is turned on. There are other settings to be made, as Tesla directs, but I've lost track of what is truly needed. BTW, do ensure that the "Tesla" app on the iPhone is up to date.
