With the radiator laid back the way it is, a minor front end accident is going to be much less likely to damage critical cooling system components.

No cabin filter at all? Hopefully one inside, it's been a while since I've had a filterless car. We get a lot of pollen here in season and it's bad enough what comes in just opening the doors much less sucking it in via circulating "fresh" air.

The owners manual that popped up back in November mentions this, hopefully that'll help you combat cedar fever etc.

Model 3 has an air filter that prevents pollen, industrial fallout, road dust and other particles from entering through the vents. The air filter should be replaced when necessary. Contact Tesla.

I'm glad to see that they took additional steps to make the AC more quiet. My Model S is embarrassingly loud when the AC is on, despite two service visits when it was under warranty.

No, it most definitely has fuses, it's just they are solid state.

What's the black plastic box behind the 12V battery immediately left of the silver body controller/power distribution box? It has "TESLA" imprinted in to it.

Is this the cabin filter? This is the little door at the top of the glove box. Notice the white material in the back.

On my BMW E46 it's accessible from under the hood, up near the windshield. IMHO, a filter should only be put on the intake of an air con system.

If it's after the blower, it will filter all the time, not just when it comes in from outside. That's particularly useful after a heavy Mexican meal...

Agreed, I have visions of crud caked on the ducts and fan blades. :/
