My HPWC arrived today. It appears to have the cable hanger with it also. Don't know if it still the model that's been plagued by the fuse problem...does anybody know if that's been rectified with newer chargers and if so how to tell?

No the problem with HPWC's blowing is not fixed. DO NOT charge over 60 amps. I just got my HPWC less than a month ago and figured I had the updated one due to it being new, that was incorrect. It blew it's fuses after charging at 80 amps for 90 minutes.

Interestingly, my final payment was also completed today, so Tesla is obviously sending them out prior to completing the purchase process...but given that they had $5K of my money, I guess that's pretty safe.:)


Oh, I also got my delivery date moved up a day!

Yeah, they are definitely allowing HPWC to be sent out before payment (but they do have my 5k). I was supposed to receive mine the (Thurs/Fri), but probably won't get the car/pay for it for another month. SolarCity came out to install Saturday, but the HPWC wasn't here yet. They were willing to do a temporary solution (and are very strongly attempting to "Just in case I get the car tomorrow"). Found the HPWC today; it is in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We live in the Bay area... but we register our vehicles to Florida (Military). After much prompting and repeating not to send the HPWC to Florida, and making sure several times that they had the correct address, it still ended up there. I guess it's taking the long way to me (6,000 extra miles traveled).

Oh well. They have re-assured me again that the car will not be sent to Florida. I really hope not! The plan is to do factory pick up...

SolarCity did say that their installations are for the whole 100 amps (80A charge), and that if anyone advises not to use that whole amperage due to the fuse issue, I should talk to Tesla about making sure I get what I paid for with the HPWC (rather than not being able to charge at the full rate).
 
Got the call/assignment of my DES (Delivery Specialist) today. Chris shortly taking over for Ciaran here in the PDX metro area.

My delivery window was estimated 6/7 thru 6/28, but Chris said it will be ready on 6/6. Appt at 9am! I'll likely be there 20min early... or sooner. ;)

Still don't have a VIN, but interestingly my app which previously was indicating no vehicle assigned yet, is now saying my email/password aren't correct, when I know they are. Likely something the factory has done to my app or car settings, perhaps in prep of final production? Forgot to ask if he knew when the EOL date is for it.

My app started doing the same thing as yours. I hope it means something is changing. I finalized mine around the same time and got my delivery button when you did with a window of 6/4-6/25. The product specialist I spoke to said mine looked like 6/19 for pickup through.

My app is also doing exactly the same thing. I also found out today that my delivery window is 6/11 - 7/2. Didn't think of asking about the EOL date :crying:
 
My VIN has not shown up yet. My delivery window was May 31- June 14. I do have my VIN, though. My DS said delivery/pick up will be 6/10. Kinda bummed about that, although it is in my window. Just was hoping it would be sooner. He said it's scheduled for completion on 6/6, but to allow a couple of days for any unforeseen issues. Then it's the weekend, and we're doing factory tour, so we're picking up on a Monday so the factory will be active. We've already been through the tour before, but since we're picking up there, we might as well go through again.
Configuration: 85, pano, tech, sound, air, og, silver/blk.
VIN: ...11381.
Ordered/deposit: 4/6
Finalized: 4/22

That's pretty much the same time frames for me except they haven't even called me about it :(
 
Interesting... my app eventually showed my VIN in upper left (about the time I assume my S was born) and simply said remote monitoring wasn't enabled yet...

Are you sure your name/PW are correct?

Dead certain password is correct. There's enough others now confirming the same behavior. I'm certain their tampering with settings to prevent early access. Still no VIN yet either.
 
Just got a call from my DS. Car complete and on a truck heading east as I write this. Delivery tentatively scheduled for 5/29. Deposit: March 28; Order placed: April 3; Finalized April 16; End of line 5/13-5/20;

Yeah, I was a pscho poster trying to get through that wait...it was fun and maddening all at once. But looking back, it was all part of the whole experience and there was definitely a reward for it all! At least I don't have to share mine with anyone...my boyfriend is very hesitant to drive it. I hope you get the most time on that schedule!

I'll keep watching to see if you get that call next week...

I just found out that my delivery window is June 11 - July 2 :smile:. Only problem is that I still don't have a delivery button, and have no idea when I am going to sign the MVPA, what my VIN is, etc. Do I need to be worried about this? When should I expect to see the delivery button, sign the MVPA, and when would I get the VIN? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
