How about a friendly wager on whose is delivered last?

One more try.
Well, after several emails back and forth with GB, and an apology email from my DS, Tesla is making me a new car. It was not a given though. GB had to make a separate trip to the factory and see if they would be able to obtain the signature parts needed. Maybe they only ordered exactly the amount they were going to use? Gilbert the VP of manufacturing agreed I should get a new car.
I was told my car was shipped out yesterday and would take 5-10 days to get to Atlanta. Sig Vin 1034. So, I am one of the last ones but very pleased. I was a late upgrade so it is much earlier than I originally expected. I wired funds on Wednesday.
Thanks for that info, as I just heard from a DS (DES?) tonight about finalizing paperwork and payment. I assume they're ready to ship mine ASAP, so that means I may have my car in less than 2 weeks? I'm trying not to get too excited!
Also, as a side note, this is not only exciting because of the car. My finance is going to move in with me once I get the S, as she will be driving my current Prius. She works about an hour away and her current car both guzzles gas and is likely going to fall apart in the next 6-12 months anyways. I don't want her driving it for safety reasons. But I get a brand new car and a live-in pre-wife whenever it's delivered
your 'Finance' ? is she moving in just because of the car, I get it
This Signature reservation holder was a day or so away from delivery when he discovered that his Model S was involved in an accident.
I'm not a betting guy, but I'd guess you will be next to last.

Anybody know how long it takes to ship a car from the factory to Seattle? Say it gets on the truck tomorrow morning (Sat). When would it arrive at the Bellevue store or Seattle service center (or my house)?
My recollection is that my DS told me that all paperwork says 95 miles to give them plenty of room to wiggle. One interesting thing I noticed in my final MVPA is the mileage- 95 miles. Is that within the average?
Whoa! Except, of course, you were a special case. Didn't they screw up your process so bad they decided to helicopter the car in to you to make up for it?:wink:My car came up in 1.5 days from the factory roughly.
P264 has a VIN *****1776 and delivery window of 12/11-12/25
Blue 85kw performance, grey interior w/ CF, pano, grey 21" wheels, spoiler, tech
@DouglasR: The distance is about 4 superchargers away (hint hint Tesla) or 828 miles . So that's about 12 hours by truck which is about 1.5 days at 8 hour driving days.
