Naive, I don't think so.
I can't speak for others but my biggest issue is the non-communication. They're acting like it's no big deal but they're not considering people have a life. I'm sure this is a secondary vehicle for some of you, but this is going to be my primary car. I currently don't have a car because I was supposed to get mine last Sunday. I should also mention that leading up to Sunday, I confirmed with Tesla 4 days in a row that i'm all set for Sunday, then Sunday morning they say never mind with no care. After I got rid of the car I was using and moved all sorts of business meeting and tasks aside because they said I was ready to go, nope not yet.
The email, not a phone call, but the email I received the morning of my delivery, after 4 days of "you're all set for Sunday", was "refrain from coming to the store today". Really, refrain from driving 2.5 hours to the store!!?! They're acting like it's a flipping Chevy dealer where there's one in every city. They have no idea how much work it took to clear an entire Sunday so I could drive 2.5 hours away. All this week I've been shuffling work around, why, because my normal schedule means I wont be able to take delivery for at least another 3 weeks. I'm a very busy person as i'm sure many of you are as well.
So, maybe for PR they don't want to tell me what specifically is wrong, fine; At least give me a decent &#*king ETA? Tell me now it'll be a month and I can move on with my life. "Don't know what's wrong but it'll be at least 2 months", fine, just tell me that. Anyone believing that they have absolutely no clue how long this will take is certainly naive. Someone at Tesla knows, they've decided we're not important enough to also know.
