I stopped by Larry's house at 5.00pm this afternoon and they were just finishing up...he had the longest handover everrr! I think he was trying to make sure he got the prize for the last U.S. Sig delivery. :wink: (Actually, he had a zillion questions was playing with the v4.0 firmware update and had actually taken his DS out to lunch. Larry's a nice guy!)

BTW, great choice in color combination Larry, you have excellent taste! Oh, and when Model Ss meet they sniff butts just like dogs:

The CA deliveries are reminiscent of my Volvo delivery in Sweden. What a terrific memory.......

Thanks Nigel! I thought Larry had skipped town. Two Model S Signatures in the same driveway - gotta love that. I can't wait until we're all together with our cars, it will be great. Congratulations Larry - I want details! Say hi to Ben, will see him in a few weeks on Clearwater Beach!

Lol I just got a call "you know your car is ready now, right?" I said I had Sunday delivery and the rep said just come Saturday at 9 because it is sitting there ready haha. Wow they are producing faster than ever!

One minor squawk -- right after I got back to my office, I opened the sunroof and one of the guides that lowers the windscreen broke. I surmise that it was probably a bit out of alignment so it bound up and snapped. Should be a quick fix.

Never would have happened if Elon inspected it.

Slightly off-topic, but I didn't want to make another thread about it: If you visit the delivery spreadsheet and it indicates it's been made private or you need access to it, that means I'm in the middle of updating it. Don't panic! (and grab your towel...)

The spreadsheet's size and the number of people visiting it results in it running so slow that I can't make any changes to it without it freezing up. Temporarily making it private to only me alleviates the problem. It will only last several minutes at a time, and I'll try to keep it quick. Just try again later if you hit that message and it should be set back to public after I'm done.

Thanks for that, I usually do a "File Save as xlsx" I have another spreadsheet that reads it and parses the description data to pull out Battery, performance, Wheel size and suspension.... too much time on this web site...

Production reservation #2077. The delivery specialist just started sending me messages with a delivery window of 12/5 - 12/19. Just a couple of messages later, it sounds like I have a confirmed pickup date and time of 12/14 at 4pm at the factory.

Pearl white, non-performance S, 85kwh battery, panoramic roof, tan leather + obeche wood matte, rear facing seats. I *think* the VIN is 01677. I could be interpreting the message wrong.

P1309 arrived yesterday safe and sound; odometer = 29. Parcel shelf was not delivered. Does anyone know the Tesla plan with regard to fulfilling this common due bill item?

I also have a malfunction with an exterior door handle. Being in TX no live delivery specialist was present. Have a call into the assigned contact.

Overall great car and beautiful color, Pacific Blue. Organizing a whole hood clear bra install early next week. I just need to keep her clean till then.
