No one is asking for or expecting that... snide comments aside, you just keep churning that rhetoric that I'm just a Tesla defender. How about just sticking with supported facts and leave the colorful adjectives and demagoguery by the wayside?
lol let it go. There are no facts to share about the test drive firmware *sugar*. I already said I might be speculating real hard here and it could just be an error on my part that a test drive P3D felt quicker than my car. You guys do know I am sour and will continue to talk smack until I get my car right?
Now not all of my qualms with Tesla are speculations because tesla does a lot of things to piss off customers and right now I am on the receiving end of that *sugar* like many others here. I am just not great at dealing with it all and am dealing with it the best way possible, by poking fun at people who take out their pitchforks every time someone says a word against Tesla 😂
So **** Tesla until I get my car ;)

Have you guys seen this? (I linked to the timestamp)
The supposed rumors that the LR and plaid have been toned down with upcoming performance and range boosts coming? I'm skeptical
I always wonder why this youtuber makes those circles on the vehicle in the thumbnail?
Regarding the guy who tweeted it, he also had mentioned that the Plaid event is gonna be full of surprises.

Give me the acceleration boost package on the LR. I will gladly open my wallet. It is ridiculous how hard this car pulls and how slow it is initially off the line. Tesla is software limiting the launch by close to 5/10ths. This car is close to a 1/2 second slower to 60 than my Ludicrous P90D, yet somehow makes up for that loss by the time it hits 100. 🤔

I really hope they offer an acceleration boost for a few thousand bucks. Knock the 0-60 down to 2.5-2.6.

But if you have 50 car haulers and you pump out enough 21 inch models that cost $4,500 more, why would you bother taking up space on those car haulers with 19 inch models?

Not saying you’re wrong but there always could be something. That big of a mark up could definitely make a significant difference in numbers for the investors.

Has anyone taken delivery since July started, after EOQ push? It’ll be interesting to see if 19s start delivering now.
Since the 19" wheels are the standard wheels on the refresh, it wouldn't make sense for Tesla to load up the 50 car haulers with only 21" and just ignore all the 19" reservation holders. That would certainly be a ridiculous move.
The situation is definitely strange considering not one refresh (we think) has been delivered with 19" wheels. Even though none of us know the true reason, it seems to be something more than just the color change but idk.

There is an acceleration boost to lower it to 1.99, it's called Plaid and it's $50,000 😂
Yes, but Tesla also offers acceleration boost packages for significantly less. I have two Model Y cars, a Perfomance and a Dual Motor. The 0-60 difference in stock form is 3.5 vs 4.8. This is a dramatic difference that makes you feel like you are driving an entirely different vehicle. For $2,000, Tesla was nice enough to take 6/10th’s off of the 0-60 and the Dual Motor with a 0-60 at 4.2 seconds feels like a completey different experience. I don’t see why Tesla won’t eventually do the same thing for the LR. It is pure profit for sending out a software update.

Wait what? I thought LR is already fast enough no? 👀😂
I think it absolutely is for 98% of buyers. I am one of those performance freaks that does see the value in the Plaid. I had two Plaid orders and a Plaid + order and fully expected to take delivery of a Plaid before my LR. It turned out that Tesla fulfilled my LR order first.

I am very impressed with the performance of the LR and it has exceeded my expectations on all fronts except the initial kick off the line. I think I have been pretty clear about this. It is pretty evident that Tesla is severely limiting the car off the line. I’m still quite happy with the car and the performance equals or betters my previous performance S in all aspects except the initial launch. If Tesla decides to offer an acceleration boost to unlock this added performance, I’m all in. If not, I think I can survive driving a car that takes a full 3 seconds to get to 60.
