Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I don't think the delivery change has anything to do with the factory power loss! My delivery was also changed from "Late August" to "Late August - September" although my P85D production was finished on July 10th and is in transit since then. Many users have reported the same thing over at the Tesla forum. Seems like an a general (automated?) change.
We need to be patient! :wink:

Good info and reassuring in a way. Besides, my being frustrated won't get the car here sooner, so I appreciate your optimism!

Agreed...thx for the info. And that is exactly why we have these self help groups, i mean , forums...to hear from others and comiserate while we wait to drive the best car in the world. Besides, its not like i have been waiting for YEARS to finally own one of these.....it is so close now i can taste it! . I live close enough to Fremont, i want to drive over and help it along the line! I worked there for a summer when it was NUMMI...Things might look a little different these days

Woo Hoo! Just changed to "in production" - was 19 days from confirmation to production. Much better than the 35 or more days my DS was telling me it was going to take.
