Yeah, I actually heard from my DS today that I still don't have a vin and won't nail the car is in final assembly

Odd that the info you got conflicts with the fact that I have a VIN but I'm not yet in production. Maybe they are just grabbing a car at the end of the line and, if it matches your spec, and it's not yet assigned to someone, they'll send it your way sooner rather than later.

Seen as the Bellevue, WA store tonight - 6 Model S's waiting for delivery, 3 still in their protective white covering. Plus a pre owned roadster :)

Well thank you for saying my car is tacky. Not that I have a car yet. Or a VIN.

You're welcome. Don't worry, mine will be too ;) to clarify, I think it worked better in the red, but stands out too much on the white without any other cf bits (and looks like it was just plopped on). I'm beginning to like the white without it. Also liking both the red and white more with the silver wheels. Luckily both can be changed quite easily to suit tastes.

It's very hard to believe much of anything at this point, too much seems to conflict. i must just sit with hands under butt and wait.

Are all the SSL's delivered or on their way? Anybody still waiting?

I've been wondering this too. Are all the SSLs done?

S#69 (VIN#499) still not delivered yet. Apparently another 10-12 days before it is scheduled to be delivered.

Tim ... the spreadsheet implies he's taken delivery. Does two greyed-out dates just mean that his window has past and delivery is assumed? And a single greyed-out date means delivery confirmed?

Fingers crossed for Sparrow's S105! :)

MY car, (s105/Vin 510) was finished and ready for transport on 10/26, but Tesla found another deviously simple way to delay my delivery by another week. Since I am in Georgia, I am in one of those States that payment must be made to Tesla before they put the car on a truck. So what do they do, they make it impossible for me to make that payment, by withholding the final payment instructions for a week even after a made a specific request for those instructions at the beginning of the week. To make matters worse they send those instructions at the very end of the day on the last day of the work week so that the weekend is added to boot. I still made a valient effort and within 30 minutes of getting those instructions, I had started the wire transfer to Tesla and signed the documents they needed, via DocuSign, but it appears to have been in vain, because it was Monday afternoon before they confirmed receipt of the paperwork. I have been in contact with at least one troubleshooter to get the ball rolling and he promised me they would try to get the car to me by, 11/11 which is the end of my delivery window that they had just confirmed on 10/27. Unless, I get on some kind of express transit the 11th seems unlikely at this point, but the 17th should be very doable.

The conditional formatting of that row will grey out any date in the past. Independently, if the delivery range end date is empty, the start date is the actual date of delivery for the car. Some people have reported deliveries in advance of the actual date, so it's possible that some on there will not be greyed out, but they are still going to be delivered.

For Jkam's car, he doesn't have a specific date there, so I didn't want to update the spreadsheet just yet.

That sucks. Allow me to offer my condolences in the form of a funny video of Kevin Sorbo reading his script literally when it said "disappointed", instead of acting disappointed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O1hM-k3aUY

That is horrifying. Are the wiring instructions specific to you, or are they generic? I wonder if it would be a good idea to share them here, so that others don't have this same problem? We could just send the wire, instead of waiting for the instructions.

At risk of putting this in the wrong thread (I am notorious for that) if your state has a delivery issue such as mine (Texas), it is prudent to contact your OE rep, or delivery specialist and inform them that you would like to address this as soon as your VIN is established. Once the VIN is established, TMC can re-generate a final MVPA which is acceptable for full (or partial + financing) payment. If you do this once the VIN is assigned, it is a simple matter of establishing an account and wiring the funds to Tesla. If you have arranged financing, the bank will then take your account plus your VIN and handle it through whatever channels that particular banking institution follows.

The key is to be proactive and contact your rep or specialist and arrange for this mechanism to occur. I have not been luck enough to have a VIN assigned, but I have worked with two employees (not sure if I should mention who - I don't follow rules well) and one, who is a financial specialist, is going to create the account as soon as the VIN is established. I will then be able to process funding to them and have it electronically completed well before the Burn-in.

This will allow my car to roll off the line and onto a truck without the financial red light flashing in Fremont.

The reason I say the 17th is doable is that the standardtransit time to Atlanta is said to be 7 to 10 days and I was told much earlier that logistics takes a couple of days so delivery would be about 9 to 12 days after yesterday the 5th , when they acknowledged payment and paperwork. The 17th is the outside of that delivery timeframe so I am expecting it at least by the 17th, but am hoping they will come thru and get it to me by the 11th by some miracle.

Payment instructions appear to be generic, although the amounts will be different, in that you wire the money to a specific Tesla account referencing only your name. Not sure it would be good to give those instructions in a forum like this. If you are in a State such as Georgia and Texas as sublimaze1 mentioned it, would be best to be proactive about getting the paperwork and final payment instructions before you think your car might be finished. It doesn't seem like it would be a hangup if you are in States that don't have strong pro dealership laws. I think during your first contact with your DS about the delivery window he will tell you about payment options. Alot of people can make the final payment upon delivery so it isn't a universal problem, just another one I happened to fall into.

Take a deep breath folks. Tesla isn't deliberately stopping people from paying for their cars and I don't think they're discriminating against Georgians.

Are all the SSL's delivered or on their way? Anybody still waiting?

Well, SSL 182 (VIN 256) finally got delivered yesterday afternoon! Black Performance, black leather, CF decor, grey wheels, pano roof. Came with underscreen cubby and spoiler. Missing 14-50 adapter (being overnighted to me); charging on 110v for now...slow. All is as wonderful as reported by others. Compared to my bucket of bolts Roadster, the S is solid, QUIET, MUCH easier to get in and out of, and seems almost as fast; after almost 3-1/2 years of driving, the poor little Roadster may be toast.
Ironically, the first official duty of the Model S was to get me to my polling place this morning to vote for Romney.
