Just got a call from my DS saying there is a problem with my charge port so they need to order a part. My new delivery date is 12/26 @ noon. Not happy that I'm not getting it tomorrow but I rather have any issues corrected before I take delivery.

. You would think they test for these things after production. If they did, and found issues, they could ship parts with the car for service center to do repairs. When was your car shipped and delivered???? I still havn't heard anything from my DS.
Sorry to hear that. It is good that they do test and inspect the car before delivery.

It was received this past Saturday at the showroom, agree with you on this should have been found out before it was shipped.That's not good

Spoke to the manager and he said that the charge port felt tight and he didn't want any issues to arise when I tried supercharging so he made he decision to hold the delivery and replace the part and I agreed.
So, I posted last week that my red MS 75D was supposed to finish production the weekend of 9-10 Dec, ship to NOVA the following week, and be delivered 18 Dec (today). I got a message from DS on Saturday saying that there was a delivery delay, and postponing delivery until 19 Dec (tomorrow).
This evening DS called and said the truck carrying my car was idling in Memphis because the delivery company put an 8-hour driving limit on the driver, and he couldn't make it for another 2 days. So, DS offered delivery on 21 Dec, but I had a conflict and will have to wait until the morning of the 22nd. DS was very apologetic, and Tesla is going to give me 2 yrs free scheduled maintenance as compensation, so as frustrating as the delay is, at least I feel Tesla is trying to treat me well.
Waiting breathlessly to see what happens next....

No one has called me so I called the Tampa Center and asked when is it going to be delivered. The gal there said it was delivered there. She said it was being prepped for delivery. So where is the DS(delivery specialist)? No one has called. I keep e-mailing and no one has contacted me.

End of year rush. Definitely an issue for them, no probably any company that grows 50% year on year. Most everyone is happy with the actual delivery and happier when they have the car.
Hang in there and be happy, you are fortunate to be getting the best car in the world.

Agreed, I gave up emailing my DS early in the beginning order stage. Every time I called I got the info I needed
Everyone else that hasn't heard from their DS on their order should pick up the phone and get someone on the line to get the most up to date status.

I've been dealing with Springfield since day one. Only issue I had was my original DS was on vacation when my order was placed, when she came back she moved on, then the manager took my account over. I haven't had any issue with them yet. Aside from my delivery being delayed 1 week and that was for a valid reason. I'm totally happy with then to date.
I ordered 10/15, car into production on 12/8, and was scheduled for delivery 12/21 in Oregon. It seems Tesla is having some logistics problems since delivery has now been pushed to 12/27. Our DS mentioned that he has had to make several calls today informing others that their cars won't be ready either.

Just checked my Tesla account "Your Tesla is currently in production.". That's a change from last week when it was 'scheduled for production'. UK. Ordered 27-Sep.

Had my delivery scheduled for tomorrow, however, DS asked if I wanted it tonight. Short story shorter, it's sitting in my garage!
