It is here! Coming from a Prius -- it is definitely a different feeling drive.

I have to say, the Van Nuys delivery team is top notch. I had voiced concern about having to get a ride over there b/c it's a hassle to bring the baby and then my husband would have to drive the 2nd car back, so they sent an Uber to my house for pickup so I wouldn't need to do that. The car and paperwork were ready when I got there. The walkthru was very thorough (a little *too* thorough since I just wanted to get out and drive it =D ) and the car drives like a dream.

Took the delivery on Saturday (05/03)
Car is everything I expected.

Some minor glitches:
1) I hear some rattles from Front Passenger side, Haven't notified service center yet about it.
2) I guess, I didn't inspect the car as much as I should have. After driving car for 20 miles and stopping for groceries on my way to home, I noticed rear right flap was loose. Promptly, I went back to Tesla Service center and the service adviser said that, They don't deliver car like that and I might have hit something while driving. But, I didn't notice driving over anything or didn't feel any bump. So Not sure, what to do to get it fixed.

Car drives like a dream.

Hey nakedsushi - I noticed you have the textile seats on your signature. How do they look? Did you get a chance to see them in person before picking up your car? I have yet to see more than the sample tile in the stores and all the pictures on the internet make them look "grey". Any information or pictures you can provide would be awesome...I am trying to see how closely they look to the one picture in the "Design Studio" (which makes them look sweet!). How about quality/durability? I was worried car seats would stretch out the leather too much if in there for a long period of time.

Replied in a PM, but in case anyone else is curious:

The seats do come out 'grey' in pictures but in real life, they are definitely black. I really like the quality of the seats. They don't have that kind of oily/sticky feeling that real leather seats have, but I didn't want that anyway. They feel like some sort of high quality microfiber and have a slight fuzzy feeling, but obviously not the same slubby feeling as suede. Not sure what else to compare it to, sorry.

As far as durability, the part your butt sits on is the fabric part, so no worries about stretch in the 'leather'. The fabric feels tightly woven, so I don't think it'll stretch that much.

One thing I did notice is that even though the seats are not leather, they do still burn your legs if you wear shorter shorts and park outside on a hot day, if you like that feeling ;)

Hi folks! Just looking to pass the time with a quick post as I'm on pins and needles as my delivery date approaches! Ordered 4/3; confirmed 4/4; anticipated delivery 5/22, but am hoping for an early delivery! Just can't wait.

Really?? I asked my delivery specialist at Centinela for a ride since my wife would be at work and I would be picking up the car before I head into the office and they told me that they do not offer rides to the delivery location and that I needed to find my own way to get there.

Hm, how far away are you? I was about 30miles away and they were great about picking me up. From what I've read on here, it seems like service quality varies from location to location.

BTW, for people who picked up their cars, what kind of keychain stuff did they get with their Tesla fob? I got 1 fob cozy/keychian thing for one fob, and a cellphone ornament strap for the other one. Currently using the thin cellphone ornament strap on my regular key chain (like to go minimal) but have doubts on the longtime durability of that strap.

I live about 42 miles from the Centinela location. The reason I chose that location is b/c of the convenience on the way to work. Yeah, it seems like service quality does vary which needs to be changed.

Got 2 of each, key fob cover and strap. I don't even use the strap, looks like it'll snap pretty easily.
