Really? I haven't noticed. I crammed a huge dresser in there. I don't remember my P90D trunk space, so I can't compare. The frunk has definitely gotten smaller, but still fits a carryon bag.And the rear deck is considerably higher (~3 inches), reducing the cargo space significantly.
How did you confirm that? Not that anybody needed to know
I got confirmation that any vehicle being produced as of now is a 2024 VIN.
Probably from a knowledgeable Service Center employee. HaHow did you confirm that?
My app still says Jan - Feb delivery, nothing more specific.
Re 2023s.
Tesla-info is showing 76 new and 159 new and demo on ev-cpo for new vehicles in the US
Trying figure out if my vehicle is showing on this. There is 1 exact match, but it's 111 miles and when viewed doesn't like any zip codes I provide.
Are 2023s down to the last 100?
They escalated me to someone over at cali (i'm in canada) regarding my previous price and new price difference, and they told me that when I asked. Funny enough they also said updating the config doesnt guarantee a 2024 VIN until I'm matched to a VIN but I reckon he's just covering his rearHow did you confirm that?

Maybe you spoke with Grok? They escalated me to someone over at cali (i'm in canada) regarding my previous price and new price difference, and they told me that when I asked. ** wait, the second person I spoke with was a Las Vagas number, idk what's up with that
I'd say that's likely. As long as the VIN is 2024, that's ok.It would be the funniest when they start shipping 2024 and its exactly the same as 2023 and it turns out they were just bleeding the inventory.
My EDD: January 17 - February 21.My Est. Delivery: January 18 - February 22
My Est. Delivery: January 18 - February 22
My EDD = January 28 - March 10. Has not changed since Dec 14th, nearly a month ago now. Ordered Dec 6th.My EDD: January 17 - February 21.
Interesting that a bunch of you have more specific dates. I have:My EDD: January 17 - February 21.
I think that is because the production is not going. I think the system works like this:Interesting that a bunch of you have more specific dates. I have:
EDD: Jan - Feb 2024
Ordered 1/1/24
Plaid / UR / 19" / Black / Wheel
Add another possible step, they try to match you with someone's cancelled order or reject...I think that is because the production is not going. I think the system works like this:
- You place the order, you get vague date like that, Jan-Feb
- They run the cycle and slot that car request into the production plan and then you get more precise date like January 18 - February 22
- There might be another step here where they connect you to the car in likely weekly production schedule and then you get even tighter date
- Last step is car is produced and they assign you with the VIN
Yes, I was focusing here on production side, but yeah, the matching to inventory is probably the first step before they slot you in production plan.Add another possible step, they try to match you with someone's cancelled order or reject...
I hope that they honor your original price. I know that some may say that the car you ordered isn't available anymore but that would really suck especially when you have been waiting for months and still have months to go.They escalated me to someone over at cali (i'm in canada) regarding my previous price and new price difference, and they told me that when I asked. Funny enough they also said updating the config doesnt guarantee a 2024 VIN until I'm matched to a VIN but I reckon he's just covering his rear

From the recent posts, it looks like teko and rugar760 both have EDDs that start on January 17th and 18th. Also if I'm correct, it looks like you both ordered the long range Model S. If those dates hold true then hopefully we will see the first 2024 VINs assigned soon.Interesting that a bunch of you have more specific dates. I have:
EDD: Jan - Feb 2024
Ordered 1/1/24
