what's the approx timeline after your myTesla page moves to "Your Tesla is currently in production."???

like, a week to build, a week to ship? more than that?
That's the million dollar question!! It's totally arbitrary. Some people have experienced production time of 3 days, while my car is still in production since February 15th. And my DS is very inefficient, has given me nothing but "alternative facts" ever since I confirmed my order.

It's almost impossible to tell for sure. The best place to get an ETA is from your delivery specialist.

hmmm.... okay thanks.

If you really want a ballpark guess, generally speaking it should get out of production in a week or two once it says it's in production.

The current factory shutdown means that everyone who started production beforehand (like me, on the 15th) currently gets to wait 10 extra days until they go back on line (supposedly, tomorrrow). Then it's on like Donkey Kong (he said, optimistically).

Ours (vin 35,5xx) just finished passing through QC tonight and will be available for pickup at the factory in 2 days! Woot!!! So they were dead on about their estimate of "late Feb, early Mar).

Going on the tour the same delivery day...double woot!

May everyone else get theirs soon.

Nice. I also plan to take the tour. I'm hoping it comes out of production this week, so maybe, just maybe I'll have it by the end of next week.

Email, plus a real delivery date on MyTesla at first. Now it says in transit (since I'm picking up at factory, it won't take long :p). And my DS is emailing me about delivery date within the next week. On. Like. Donkey. Kong.
Woot!!! Nice PedanticOne! Picking up at the factory too - wow!
I just got the completion email myself. Also, updated delivery range on 'my tesla' March 6th - March 20th... Sure hope it's sooner than the 20th :) I'm about 12 hours drive from the factory.

Congrats to those of you that have just gotten delivery updates. My car went into production on 2/16 so a day after PedanticOne. MT still says in production. I get so anxious every time you people get an update. Can't wait for my page to start updating.
I feel the same way... my car went into production on 2/15( according to my tesla) but no updates yet. I did not even get an email saying the car went into production...

I've had my waiting anxiety significantly reduced since I got a delivery date. At least I know when it's coming. @PedanticOne you should be able to pick up really soon! Try and enjoy your "old" car until then LOL. I promise to post photos of my delivery (mine is coming via enclosed trailer to my house so no shiny showroom experience for me) - please reciprocate as it's just as fun seeing other deliveries.

DS tells me I can pick up any day from Friday on. Just need to figure out when/if my wife wants to go.
