I am at last hopeful that I am in the right thread now. Our DS has been very confident this week that car will be ready for collection next Thursday. I look at your vin numbers and giggle, mine is 61xx but then living in China I expected to have to wait a bit longer.

Got the news I've been waiting for. Our X (16,5xx) entered production today. Delivery by the end of September.

I got that email last night at 8:52PM. Today at 1:34PM, I got an email stating "Your Tesla is complete". Dang... But the DS said it entered production on Tuesday (8/30). Good luck!

First estimate was 10/15 delivery after 9/12 production... Just changed to 10/13. Any chance it gets pushed up more to try to get into Q3 or is it more likely I get pushed back?

I originally had ordered the high-amperage option but decided against it but kept the Wall connector as a matter of convenience, so that I do not have to constantly remove the mobile connector from the trunk.

Are you taking delivery in Van Nuys? mine is probably on the same truck.

Nope, it's still mid to late September. My DS will know more once my X is out of QA.

Thanks. Contacted one in Burbank that had high Yelp recommendations. Been sending pictures and he said can install Friday. Can use the Burbank charger if I need to.

I use Triple A Electric he talks a lot but his good. My X just arrived in Van Nuys my favorite SC it's the best. This will be my 3rd Tesla delivered there.

Man, I'm going to hit almost 4 weeks waiting on an inventory car here for delivery - almost should have just ordered new I feel now seeing all these fast deliveries ;-) It's odd they take so long to inspect, then a week to ship, then 3-4 days to arrive say 1000 miles by truck, then days to inspect again, and hopefully allow for a delivery after that.
