DS emailed me last week, my MX will be entering production by end of August and delivery by early Septmeber.
6/23 - confirmed.
VIN - 145xx - not sure when it showed up, probably around 7/15.
6 seater 75d with preming package option.
Looks like 90Ds are getting delivered faster than 75Ds

Spoke to my DS yesterday who told me my delivery looks like mid-September!!! Ordered 7/17, confirmed 7/24, VIN assigned: 7/31. VIN 166XX Sooner than I anticipated... keeping fingers crossed...

DS told me yesterday that production would begin 8/22, take a week, then it would take four weeks to ship the car to Atlanta. Ready for delivery around 9/24. VIN 145XX.

Production sequence does not follow VIN numbers though. They are ramping up the production. I may receive mine end of August

My DS says Late Sept. for my X60D. Still waiting on vin even though it confirmed on 7/20. It says:

Ordered 7/15. No VIN yet. DS said late September production and first week of October for delivery. Do you have 6 seat or 7 seat configuration?

I have a 6 seat. Emailed the DS this morning but haven't gotten a response. I haven't filled out insurance or leasing preferences so does that have anything to do with it? My spec is:
X60D Solid Black/black leather/SAS/6 seat/Hitch
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Hope I can get the vin soon and the car is supposed to come late next month!

If this is the case, then wouldn't VIN numbers be useless for tracking orders? I'm not sure how they don't sequence in order (that's how the big 3 do it), seems horribly inefficient from a production standpoint.
