Interesting- I find that my MS (first time) and MY auto position one are finally great. No more crazy fast wiping and letting drizzle accumulate before a wipe
I personally hate using the auto wipers and have a preference for slower wipes, I don't find rain that distracting when driving unless it's pouring. And even then if it's raining hard sometimes it's better just to turn the wipers off all together.
I personally turn auto off cause I find the frequency way too high, even on manual at the lowest setting I find it way too fast. I wish you could program it slower or set your own presets. ...Maybe one day...
I've noticed that, when I go through a carwash, sometimes they come on when in auto mode, and other times they don't. What's the easiest way to turn them completely off before entering?

My MY dispenses wiper fluid from both wiper blade arms. The wiper blade arm on the driver's side dispenses a fine spray while the passenger side wiper blade arm dispenses a larger amount of washer fluid directly onto the windshield. At least that is what I have observed.
My MY auto wipers work great except in the finest/lightest mist. But my Jeep Grand Cherokee, our BMW 5 Series and our daughter’s VW Atlas are equally as bad at sensing light mist.
