How long after you place an order do you on average get an update from Tesla, I have a RN via text the day after the order was placed but I’m wondering when is it likely I will hear from them, my order was placed through work leasing scheme On 13th May so I can’t see the car in the app. I’m not expecting much of an update now but just curious how often texts / emails come through

I didn’t hear anything between ordering early March (RN number provided) and a few days ago when I got my delivery confirmation.

Sorry if raising in the wrong thread or if answered before.
Just want to check if a tracker is required to be installed while taking insurance from LV=
Every time i navigate between pages while generating the quote - get a message 'Sorry..we need a tracker installed for Model Y'.
Thought the vehicle already comes with a tracker.
Anyone who has taken an insurance with LV= and to advise. Tried calling LV= but got a vague answer that if a tracker is already installed it is not required.

Aghhhhh, we've had an EDD of 18-30 June for ages now and today it's changed to September. We're away at the mo and haven't been getting all our texts etc. Hope we didn't just miss it.

I'm different spec, but Glasgow collection. EDD has changed this afternoon from Aug-Sept to May...

I have a MSM 19" pick up from Glasgow it was 18-30 June now showing only June

Has never worked with me..have been calling up almost every alternate day over the last couple of weeks. Still stuck on July!

You can contact live chat with your RN and ask for the EDD - but it is just that - an estimate. You may as well wait for the text to book collection.

I have looked at that since others have posted the same but I seem to have trouble accessing it / finding it

I had the same today. But I’m at home. There have been no texts to miss

Same spec but ordered end Feb, no VIN or text, EDD still 16-30June but don’t see it staying at that. Looks like all the Ys have been allocated with no new VINs past few days.

They said they don’t insure cosmetic mods as so
It invalidates insurance, it’s pretty sad since I wouldn’t of claimed the wrap cost (god forbid if I did need to make a claim) also I would of notified dvla if required also

Given it looks like only RCC Europe is the ship for the UK and it seems likely to be the source of the VINs and delivery assignments from this week. Is it possible that only a percentage of VINs have been allocated and delivery arranged so far? Wondering if we may see another round of Vins and delivery arrangement next week if this is the case? Assuming there’s a few thousand vehicles on the ship so surely that’s a big batch to assign and arrange delivery in one hit?

I think a lot of people had end of June dates - even myself with a fairly new order (19th - 30th June). It jumped back to September - November just this afternoon.
