Better than mine…June 26 - 30. Are we really going to get our cars? 🤔
It really has to be the most bizarre system. Makes no reason or rhyme at all. Even the delivery! With mine scheduled for Sunday the 20th, I called MDR Saturday afternoon (and shockingly they answered) and I asked is there any chance the car may be ready and I can just swing by and pick it up. (I don't live far at all from the Marina). The guy said, the car is here, let me check and he would call me back. So he called me back (another shock) and he said, no it won't be today, let's just stick to tomorrow. So Sunday rolls around and my time frame is 9am-6pm. I called around 11:00 asking, hey can I just pick it up instead of hanging around the house all day waiting (it was Father's Day after all :) ) and they said no, that's ok we will bring to you and reminded me that I didn't have to be home. I then asked if it arrives by truck or does someone drive my car to my home. They replied they drive it here. I asked if he could give me any kind shorter time frame and he said it should be "fairly soon". Fast forward to around 12:30 and there she is, the car in the driveway. The driver was waiting by the curb - for an Uber! I offered him a ride back and he said, oh no thanks, we take an Uber back. I just don't get it. What kind of sense does it make to take the time and cost of an employee to drive the car to the customer's residence and Uber back when the customer is willing and ready to pick it up?!

First time poster but I’ve really found this forum helpful and informative as I wait for my LR Y. THANK YOU. I’m hoping for a little humble clarification as I’m a bit confused. I originally placed my order April 8th but didn’t complete my profile until May 14th. I’ve been told from two different SA’s in Bellevue, WA that orders are matched to a VIN based on order date and not my profile completion date and all they see in their system is my April date. I‘m confused what is my actual date because what I read here makes me think profile completion date matters more than order date!

I even found a demo car last week with exact specs as what I wanted and cancelled that order because the SA was saying he’d expect my wait to not be too much longer. I was a little on the fence because demo car actually costed me more because of price increases so not losing any sleep!
they can definitely see whether youve completed other parts of your profile (tradein, loan agreement, tesla vision, etc). Ive been on the phone about this a few times.

and yes, order completion date definitely matters. i waited to confirm my tradein details so i can target a end of quarter delivery without having to renew my tradein details...now my edd is in august (ordered 2/26)

Good morning everyone. Rocking the September date for the second day in a row. I'm not concerned...yet. Remember, they can turn around a car from production to delivery in about 24 hours in the Bay Area, and 48 hours to SoCal. If you look at past quarter threads, they literally have all hands on deck for the final week. Every SA and store employee turns into a delivery specialist and they will be churning those suckers out. Hold strong!

I think the issue is they don't want 1000 lost customers in their parking lots looking at & inspecting cars. I also originally had pickup and was converted to delivery. I had to get the phone number of the guy delivering the car because there no street parking where I was.

Where did you end up getting it delivered — a nearby parking lot?

I’m facing a similar issue if mine (when I ever get it) has to be dropped-off rather than picked-up at Colma.

Alright everyone, so yesterday I visited Fremont and they told me "car was still in PRE_PRODUCTION!!! and should have it by the end of the month"... So I left very sad and frustrated as usual. HOWEVER, later in the evening, got the email to finalize the payment, signed some papers and Delivery appointment appeared later around 10 pm SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW DROP OFF!!!! WHATTTT?! Cant even believe it is real, but I guess watch for your EDD getting really narrow ranged and this should follow afterwards even if SA/SC keep saying "the recorded message over and over and over"...
