I'm on 2021.11.104How long before anyone got a software update to their car?
Prob got too many complaints from DCUGot my 2nd VIN Sunday morning 286XXX, scheduled for delivery on 10/14. Lets hope this one sticks and there are no major issues. However, I'm disappointed they discontinued the rate match program right after EoQ.
That would make sense, but it was a hassle getting everything through with DCU, spent the whole day on the phone with DCU yesterday to finalize everything. Those long wait times are brutal! I was slightly considering paying a little more interest for a big bank but then looked at the total cost of the car at the end of the loan and said I'll go through with this DCU headacheProb got too many complaints from DCU
How do you qualify for DCU? Just want to know, their rate is very low. Thanks. That would make sense, but it was a hassle getting everything through with DCU, spent the whole day on the phone with DCU yesterday to finalize everything. Those long wait times are brutal! Just apply online, and you can use a referral or give a donation $10 to join. I said I had a referral based on people from other threads in the application process but they never really confirmed my referral contact. It was actually quite easy to sign up. The hard part is the long wait time to finalize your loan once you get your MVPA. I also had issues with the ID documents submitted because they kept asking me to resubmit them. But generally signing up and doing the loan app is straightforward. You just have to dedicate a few hours on wait time to complete everything. They are definitely the lowest rate for a 65 month loan, all other loans that were 60 months were higher rates. The cheapest interest rates were for loan 24 months. Since Tesla decided to discontinue rate match, I would just go with DCU.How do you qualify for DCU? Just want to know, their rate is very low. Thanks.
tbh based on Tesla's terms they should not have matched DCU's 65m rate anyway, they could have just enforce the same term policy to achieve the same result.Just apply online, and you can use a referral or give a donation $10 to join. Based on others experiences Tesla would rate at 60 or 72 months, most people requested the 72 month rate matchtbh based on Tesla's terms they should not have matched DCU's 65m rate anyway, they could have just enforce the same term policy to achieve the same result.
The referral code does nothing. Just apply and donate to one of the charities. It’s the only way. Agree dealing with DCU is lame. But 1.24% can’t be beat. once I established the DD I have yet to have any troubles. 1st auto loan payment is on 11/19. Will update all if there are issues. How do you qualify for DCU? Also just noticed the California Clean Fuel Reward will be reduced to $750 starting 11/2/21, hopefully everything will go through for you this month!Based on others experiences Tesla would rate at 60 or 72 months, most people requested the 72 month rate match
Agreed that is the only thing I was hesitant about is splitting up my check to 2 different banks. But I figured I will just allot only my monthly payment to the DCU account. I scheduled my auto payment on 11/15, not wasting any time on this 65month count. I hate having a car note, sooner it can be paid off the betterThe referral code does nothing. From your lips to God's ears, I am T-minus 28hrs and counting. I am just itching to give my trade-in car to Tesla, that is a story for another time or thread. So far everything seems on time and payment will be finalized today. Also just noticed the California Clean Fuel Reward will be reduced to $750 starting 11/2/21, hopefully everything will go through for you this month!
