Tried installing the rear facing seats today in my 2019 Model S but the strikers are too short? (Article number 1013629-00-C)
The manual have B for 1st generation and D for 2nd generation but not C.. If i order 1013629-00-D, do you think it will fit?

How can I determine if I need the crossmember. Some ppl said that the early models came equipped with it. I have a 2013 without RFS but am looking to install it. Will I need the crossmember???
Anyone run into an issue where the top latch isn’t making contact to the back of the seat? I took off the adjustment panel, loosened the 4 nuts and it still won’t latch into place.
My strikers are making good contact I just can’t get the top to latch.
I am having this same issue. Did you use the next gen strikers or use the bolt hack?Tried installing the rear facing seats today in my 2019 Model S but the strikers are too short? (Article number 1013629-00-C)

What size did you use? I was thinking of getting several washers with a longer screw. I need about 0.5 to 1 cm on each side.Just put a bolt spacer between the fender and latch to push it out toward the center....might have to get a longer bolt.
I have it to do to mine and it works fine
