Which is why it's good to have options. I'm not sure if this is actually hard for you to grasp, or if you're just arguing to argue.

just saying that it is not unsafe to press two buttons when you know right where they are....maybe some want preferences and that’s fine but it is certainly not a “safety issue”. Then “heaven forbid” someone says my seat it too hot could you lower it one or two settings. Smh smh smh
 
Regardless of how it seems to you, taking your eyes off the road and hand off the wheel - no matter how brief - is a distraction from driving and has obvious and objectively measurable effects on safety.

Of course, nobody is suggesting you have to change anything or use the new features. I'm merely pointing out that to suggest it's "quicker" to go mash the screen is to miss the point.
I just wish you could use the wheel down to turn off the AC/heat, instead of the double clicking on the screen.
