EDD is like death by a million cuts. Each day the earliest day drops by 1 while the latest day remains stable... Maybe I'll just start looking at the latest day.

I had thought about discussing our SAs on here, but hadn't got around to it yet - I have Mario at North Park

I was originally assigned a guy in California at random just because I asked a question on the Tesla website. He didn't instill a feeling of confidence so I asked to get switched to Mario as I'd done a couple of test drives through him. So I guess you can request a change if you want to

I took a trip to the Love Field place just to check it out as I thought the pick up had to be from there (it doesn't) and got talking to Brian. He was friendly and knowledgeable.

North park is closer for me, plus I can pick up some Nespresso at the same time

I've got Chris at Northpark - get updates at times but he hasn't responded to my last few messages - and getting them on the phone is a nightmare

I hate it that whenever I initiate a chat to get some info (because my SA wouldn't respond), in the backend, they reach out to your SA and your SA calls you back in an hour or so. These days I inform the agent on chat not to ping my SA as long as I get the info needed.

I decided to chart the dates I've been tracking, to hopefully make me feel better:

(When it just says "October" or whatever I set the earliest to the first of that month, and the latest to the last day of that month)

Note that I didn't complete my profile until June 25th or so and you can see how the EDD's jumped back twice until I did and the Earliest EDD line slope was then behind the original line slope by roughly the same number of days as what I delayed (roughly 19 days) although it doesn't seem to have affected the Latest EDD line really. But it looks very true that you do need to fill out your profile ASAP..

I just called the main number and they couldn't give me any more info other than you won't get a VIN until the car is complete and looks like end of the month/early Sept just like the EDD... ridic

His response to my comment "I haven't been able to get in touch with my SA" was "No worries"

Performance models always have earlier and more significant EDDs these days - at least since I’ve noticed on here. Must be something they’re prioritizing or maybe some different components that are in short supply and preventing them to make as many LR models.
