Has the novelty worn off for anyone who's received their Model 3 yet? What would you have rather bought?

For me it is been the exact opposite. The longer I drive electric the more I get addicted to the "novelty"!
Besides the obvious benefits, there are many subtleties and nuances driving electric that you do not appreciate right away.

I highly doubt I will ever drive or choose a gas car again. Why would you?

Ohh no it gets more fun the more you drive it. You become more comfortable with how it drives and what it can do. Just amazing. Can not leave it alone!

I have had an s for almost 3 years now. The novelty still hasn’t worn off.

Three Teslas owned over six years, totaling more than 150k miles and I still love it. Tesla has ruined me for any gasoline engine car.

3 months in and I am still in awe of how great the car is. Even if it is used.

No. 10 months in with 9k miles.

But the stories of extended warranty possibly never surfacing on a Model 3 and no longer available on your account for Model S/X has me very concerned.

If they have no extended warranty before I hit 50k miles there will be no more Tesla’s in this household.

If they can’t make money on extended warranties something is very wrong.

I was seriously thinking of trading in my Model 3 Performance for an X. Now I’m not so sure.

Only owned it for a few days but everytime I drive it I find something new, not sure the novelty will ever wear off !
