One Tesla Model X Signature Reservation Remains

Innumerable TV reports, motor vehicle articles, and Tesla Forum posts state that all Tesla Model X Signatures were delivered long ago. However, all were wrong.

I hold the sole remaining Tesla Model X Signature reservation and am deciding whether to configure and purchase it, before the end of the year, or consider other options.

Any suggestions?

Remember if you configure after the end of this year you will no longer get unlimited free supercharging.

I think you need to talk to a Delivery Specialist - having just configured my Founders, I know you may have trouble with the Design Studio -- and they may or may not have Sig badging on hand.

But I suspect that your comment of "or consider other options" is actually code for "make me an offer". The Sig value was mostly tied to being able to get it early in production, valuable for people who didn't want to wait. Not sure what the Sig value would be now.

Not sure they'd be willing to do Sig Red at this point. I knew that delaying my Founders meant that Sig Red paint was likely off the table, since the paint shop is fully utilized with the standard colors. Willing to bet that when the OP looks at Design Studio choices, Sig Red is no longer available.

I'm sending my kids to public school, living off free costco food samples, and using my local super charger to keep my current X topped off to save on electricity just to afford my base model X!

(Just kidding on the last point.. there are limits to human decency.)
