Okay. Here are my stats...

Original Order Date: 7/10/21
VIN Received: 9/9/21
Delivery Date: 9/11/21

Specifications: Tesla Model Y Long Range, Black Exterior, White Interior, 7 Seats, Tow Hitch, 20" Induction Wheels
Purchased Upgrades: Acceleration Boost, Full Self Driving (Subscription)

TL;DR - The day before delivery, the car had a rattling noise that had to be fixed which was a loose screw on the floorboards. After accepting the vehicle and driving off from Portland to Bend, the Autopilot, Regenerative Braking, Traction Control, and Stability Control all got disabled. I did a soft reset and a hard reset but it did not fix the issue. I put in a Service request to have the car looked at by a Remote Technician on the 21st. The Tesla Sales Associate that I spoke to on the phone who has been working for Tesla for 9+ years said this is only the second time he's ever heard of this issue since working for the company. He owns two Tesla vehicles as well.

Despite all that, I am very happy with the car and the post delivery support has been AMAZING compared to the pre-delivery sales process so I have no regrets even after the initial inspection of the vehicle.

Good luck to the rest of you who are waiting on your Model Y vehicle deliveries! :)

...accepting the vehicle and driving off from Portland to Bend...
Nice to hear that someone else in Bend finally got their Tesla! I hope to be making that trip to Portland soon myself.

Our Model 3 EDD has been stuck at 09/15-09/30 for many weeks now. Our Model Y EDD keeps bouncing around between Nov, Dec, Jan. At least our Wall Connectors have arrived and can be installed this week.

Good luck with the Service request. I hear that Bend may soon be getting its own service center on the North end of town. There have been job postings on LinkedIn.

My MYLR would have been stuck on 9/16-9/30 as well if it wasn't for the person that gave up their reservation and put me in front of the line. Hope you get yours soon though! :)

So you haven't been able to experience "Acceleration boost" yet ? Missing software update causing this may be ?

I purchased the Acceleration Boost before I got to the showroom to pick up the vehicle. It updated the Model Y by the time I got inside of it so I floored it as soon as I got to a stretch of road that was safe and had no other vehicles or pedestrians. The error messages came maybe an hour after that on the way back to Bend.

The Tesla representative did mention that a software update may be the cause of the issue, so I'm hoping that's the case.

So when you got the FSD subscription, they would have installed the software for it too right ? Did it also update your car software from 3.106 to latest one ? I read somewhere if you take FSD, it automatically pushes latest update on your car.

I need to check when I get home, but the car did reboot quite a few times to get the FSD stuff to show up, I think.

Got my car back from Highline. Everything looks great. Removed all badges and replaced rear T logo with TESLA letters in black. 33% ceramic tint. Full ppf wrap with ceramic coating. They also installed my new spoiler.

@Sherwood_John

Having issues with quoting on mobile. This is a link to a post I made with the quotes I received. PDX WRAPS actually quoted me $5500 for clear and $6500 was for the stealth.

This is what I got a month back from PDX wraps

Just sent over the quote for the tint. Full body PPF without the back bumper would be $7,250. In matte/satin paint protection with the back bumper that would be $8,500.
We use 3M Pro Series paint protection film that has a 10-year warranty against any bubbling, yellowing, and cracking. Install would take 4-5 days and right now I am booking the week of 9/13 for install.

To be fair to PDX Wraps this is their email to me.

"Thanks for the inquiry!

Full coverage on your Model Y in matte paint protection would be around $8,000. I would want you to stop by or call and talk with my paint protection specialist about it.

Install takes 4-5 days and right now I am booking the week of 6/28 for install.

Our typical package is a full front end and that includes the full front bumper / full fenders / full hood / Mirrors / door cups & edges that would be $2,150."

Seems they quoted me stealth and didn't ask for stealth.

Crazy how my quote was so much less. If y’all want it done there I guess I can bring it in for ya. Haha.
