I think it's the upgrade package and the white interior holding things up.

Sounds like the non-upgrade package P's with black interior are first up, because they add the least complexity to the lines.

depends on how close to CA they are.

I ordered black interior and my car is already built. I'm just all the way in MA.....

I’m not sure how Tesla is batching/delivering P models. I’ve been an X owner since March 2016. I reserved my 3 in April 2016 and ordered late June 2018. I live in SoCal. Ordered a P3 with upgrade package, white exterior and interior, and EAP. I still have the old account page with edit button. (Im)patiently waiting for Tesla to make contact.....

We are likewise waiting for a change from edit for our MSM / White Performance P3D. My sister with her White / White with Performance just got contacted by the delivery specialist.

I'm in Southern California, ordered a blue Performance with the Performance Upgrade and Premium Black Interior including Enhanced Autopilot and Full Self-Driving. Haven't heard anything, although, I never saw an edit button from the very start. Reserved on 4/1/16 and ordered on 6/29/18. That said, it wouldn't really bother me if it didn't come until later in the year. But I'm worried it will end up being ready during the few weeks I'm scheduled to be traveling and unavailable. If that were the case, hopefully it wouldn't push me too far back.

I did some analysis yesterday and today from @Troy's spreadsheet; see here and here. In summary, exterior color doesn't seem to be a factor, but only PP/20/white and P/18/black are being assigned. PP/20/black are nowhere to be seen, despite representing a larger proportion of orders.
