20 hours from delivery and not a word from DA, no VIN. Still scheduled on my account. What an awful experience.
If you just show up you might get a loaner out of them.

For all of you with busted delivery dates - -were you asked to confirm all final details with a specialist? Still have edit button?
I both hope they offer this to me and don't. I really want 19's but they were not an option on the performance model. I also can't afford them right now but I might do it anyways hah.Yes, I had everything confirmed, had delivery date and time, was waiting on contract and VIN. 24 hours before delivery I was given the option to "upgrade" to 19" wheels for $1500 and keep my delivery date. I declined, if I had wanted 19"s that's what I would have configured! Tough decision because obviously I would have liked to have my car in 17 mins (when my appt. would have been).
Interesting, I guess maybe it's worth showing up for, but pretty sure they will call can cancel right before delivery? If you just show up you might get a loaner out of them.
Confirm all final details? I was asked to select a delivery date, fill in my loan information, but that's all. The edit button went away though.

Update: No vin yet, bank closes in a few hours, guess I'm out. Starting to wonder if I can just get a full refund at this point. I need to dump a bunch of money into the house due to broken pipes under my slab It would kill me to not get the car after this long journey, but I also want to get my hot water back. I would still get a new car, but probably just a new / slightly used volt. Wishing I hadn't sold my volt already! Commuting in my truck is expensive! $120 - $180 per week in gas!
Maybe a better option would be to change config back to AWD, and use the 10k to fix my house. Then switch back to performance because before they build me an AWD I would probably have enough for a performance model again. Kinda risky on getting the tax incentive though.Your $3500 deposit is no longer refundable if they've already scheduled you for delivery. I suppose you could talk it out with them though, or take them to court since they bailed on your assigned date.
If you are getting cold feet around such a large purchase you really ought to try to find out if you can bail out of it.

I haven't driven the P version but the regular AWD version is fast enough that I've scared everyone I've shown it to.
I drove the performance. It was nice. But not $10K-$15K nice, IMO.

nah I still have no vin, but delivery date is Tomorrow. I wonder what happens if I show up!My delivery is next Friday, and finally my VIN popped up today. It seems to match what some forum members mentioned that it might be an automated process, updating the VIN 7 days before delivery.
You won't get a car -- but you might get them to actually start doing something about getting your car made. It's worth showing up, playing dumb, and being really frustrated. Maybe you'll get the escalation you need to actually get them to make your car.nah I still have no vin, but delivery date is Tomorrow. I wonder what happens if I show up!
I have delivery scheduled in 5 hours no VIN. I have sent several emails offer the last week, no reply.
Call your delivery center and dial the service extension. They aren’t the ones who will give you the straight truth.I have delivery scheduled in 5 hours no VIN. I have sent several emails offer the last week, no reply.
Same here. Had to go through dozens of back and forth emails and calls to schedule for Sept 25. Got a text today that delivery has been canceled and they will reach out "in a few next weeks" - WTF (P Model)Was emailed midday on Monday that I could take delivery this Friday. Still no VIN, less than 36 hours away. Starting to think I’m getting delayed. I’m a huge Tesla fan, I can look past this, but it’s a terrible look, they need to get this figured out now. Pissing off so many people!
