My SA told me since the delivery guys do alot of hardwork at the end of the quarter expect delay since they may take off for a week or two. September 30th is the end of their quarter. Smh. Im travelling on 12th and wont be back till 22nd and apprently I will have only three days to pick up. In short I may lose my VIN and be back in line to get a new VIN assigned. Unless by any miracle they get my car sooner. He told me it wont be sooner however it could be delayed. Lol
Also it comes with Michelin all season tyres, and new door panels but no cargo cover. I did not ask about the matric headlights tho.

Update: got the text today 09/30/2022 at 2:08 pm that your model Y has just departed from the factory and is in transit to your delivery center.
Does anyone know if its just a regular update? Or I should really get my hopes up that I will get it soon? EDD is still 10/12-10/18.

You can actually tell from your VIN. If you google “ decode tesla VIN” youll know.

I think the basic one. Where it says F56xxx etc. F in that means Fremont. I think most of the ones Ive seen here are from Fremont.

Yup same text and right before I got that they confirmed that the car was leaving cali and due to my location in NJ on 10/19 as of now. Looks like a bunch of our model Ys are traveling together

Been 10/15-12/12 since like 09/13 for me. My trade runs out on the 11th. If it does, I’m holding out for a 2023 I’m thinking.

VIN assigned this morning F564 with the expected delivery date between 10/12-10/19.
I'll be picking up in MD.

I just received a text from Tesla to schedule a delivery and gave me the choices between 10/17-19.
I'll be picking up on the 17th and hopefully Tesla ships the mobile connector soon.

Just got a call thos afternoon. Picking up on 10/08 in St Louis. Model Y, black on black. No fsd

We are on our 3rd Tesla ordered from the STL location. Nothing but great things to say about them. The service department is really top notch - we are spoiled compared to many other locations around the country.

Spoke to my SA, who is out of Fremont and has been nothing but awesome. Says my res is match to a build slot scheduled to be built around the 16th. The vehicle is then EDD'd to me around the end of the month.

We shall see if these hold true!
