I got the quote right away. Like the movie (own 2 copies - original LD and director's cut LD), but mostly because that was one of those annoying questions I would always get: "When will Photoshop be able to do that?"
Loved this one. I am exactly the same that I like TG but hate what they are doing to my love.
BTW,having seen the Infiniti I think it's existence will be the last nail in the Coda coffin. Looks normal. Would be a good fleet/government car (the only buyers I see for the Coda) and similar enough pricing and range from a major manufacture.
That said, once Clarkson finally retires he can quit indirectly shilling for the show's big-oil sponsors. His jowls might be dragging the floor by then, though...
It'll be similar to The Stig -- personal opinions can be offered more clearly once you're not associated with, and pulling a paycheck from, the show itself. Of course The Stig being mute on the show is a big difference there
And *this* is why Tesla filed, and is going to win, its libel lawsuit. Generally, when TV program makers are caught out lying, they agree to put a disclaimer or correction on rebroadcasts.... but TG refuses to do so.
I'm not as sure. For instance, while they show people pushing the car inside the building, they don't actually say they're pushing it because it went dead. They let you, the viewer, make that link.
Kind of like beer commercials in the US. Have you ever noticed that no-one actually drinks a beer in a beer commercial? Most people just make the leap that people in a bar with mugs filled with beer, pouring beer into mugs, and lifting mugs, etc., are drinking. But they're not.
The best legal system in any country is still a dense set of technicalities. Tesla can easily lose.
