I think the "secret weapon" has already been deployed. It's the CPO program.

Tesla's trade in values are pretty good. No real incentive to sell a used Model S to a dealer, or privately. Sell it to Tesla when you want to move up to the latest version, like Dual Motor.

That sounds right. I always apply the "the secret is the most boring possibility" test to these secret rumors, and that passes the test.

No, the 'PowerPack' is the 100kwh commercial (and 'infinitely' scalable) product. The 'PowerWall' simply comes in two flavors...

Say we accept Solar City's $7140 cost for an installed Powerwall. A lot of that is the service call, necessary inverters, wiring and so on. But what's the incremental cost of the battery? If you want two Powerwalls, will you pay another $7k, or $3k ? That will tell us how much the battery costs.
