'Update on your delivery timing: We expect your Model 3 to exit the factory and arrive at your delivery center between 12/1 and 12/9. Please look out for further communication when it is time to schedule your delivery appointment.'

Random Chicago number, not my SA. Possibly someone at the delivery center with a Chicago area code or possibly some hooligans playing the ultimate prank on me. I don't know!

The weird thing about this text is area code is 508. Why do Tesla delivery use this area code?

Anyone have the red exterior? I was told at Buena Park that red isn’t as common. Maybe white gets first dibs since it’s the default, no cost choice?

From all that I've gleaned about production at Fremont, the -only- factor is trim. So when SR+ are being cranked out, color/seats/wheels have no bearing on production order.

I wonder how big the batch is before they switch to next trim. I.E. Do they make every currently booked SR+ in the current batch, even those who ordered this week, or do they do a week of SR+(several thousand) then switch to the next trim the next week and keep doing that through the backorder.

Did all of you getting the text today buying an SR+?

No text or call yet for me either. 11/1 order, though modified on 11/16, red/black, 18” Aero wheels. Not expecting anything so soon due to my late modification, but all this is moving much faster than I expected. Sounds like end of November or beginning of December is looking realistic.

Texted my SA last night who told me she doesn't have the capability to see my build date, only that a VIN hasn't been assigned yet. She said once a VIN is assigned I should have my car in 2 weeks. This is for the Santa Barbara, CA delivery center.

Just got the same text but it was 11/23 and 12/1. I ordered a standard range on 10/4 - Burbank, CA.

I got a similar message but 1 day behind. HAHA Is this a sign??
