So the SR + have inmersive sound? Weird how it only sounds from lower speakers did you check the settings?
Immersive sound means little, it just fakes the sound so it feels “wider” if you will. It’s like the little button older BMW’s had for hifi on the Harman kardon. Was nice to be able to turn it off when sometimes it just sounded too good...lol

All door speakers work not the pillar speakers

Sounds ok loud but not great at low volume

My guess is that without an amplifier the speakers are not efficient enough , and no sub of course

Even full premium do not have rear deck speakers

I have the dual motor and I think the sound is pretty good but not wow like many others say. I had a 2015 Citroën C4 before this car and the speakers were decent in that car also and not far from, so im a little nervous with the SR + speakers since I'm thinking of swapping to that version instead.

Oh OK, but there suppose to be speakers in the back ?
Did you keep you LR?
Yes, I kept the LR. Traded in an SUV for the SR+.

It just sounds kind of empty, compared to the LR. I'm not into audio or anything but it sounds like it's coming from someone's iphone or something. I'm hoping once I'm on the latest software it sounds a bit better (I thought I had seen reports of other speakers activating after an update, could be mistaken though).

Picked up my car today. So far all of my concerns were for nothing. Not knowing about these forums is probably better than knowing about them pre-delivery...

In reality I learned a lot but also scared myself almost to the point of not buying.

My car has no swirl marks in the clearcoat. That is something I have read about "a lot" on here, other forums and Reddit. My delivery center, Highland Park IL, did a great job detailing the car and not messing it up. I looked over the paint at home with a good light and I can't find any flaws. I'm not an auto detailer but nothing seems out of the ordinary. I also notice no panel gap issues. I inspect our 2012 Camry Hybrid and it's chrome doesn't line up on the drivers side. I never noticed after all these years until reading forums.

I get that these issues *do* happen. I actually checked out one of the other 3s being picked up and I didn't see anything wrong with it externally.

My car is dead silent. I know it is new and squeaks and rattles come with age but off the lot it has no issues. It also has substantially less road and wind noise than our 2012 Camry hybrid.

When we picked it up there were two other 3s being delivered, a family deciding between an S and X, and many test drives occurring. They were very busy and I had in my head it would be dead because "no demand" (once again Internet FUD).

SR+, MSM paint, purchased before the $500 and $2000 price increases. Next weekend I am going to ceramic coat it (DIY).

Autopilot is enabled and we didn't do anything and the delivery specialist was confused then said "must be a trial." I have read of trials but we didn't enable it and the car had 15 miles on it.

One thing I don't like is how dark it is inside with the interior lights. I hope they software unlock the "ambient lighting" for a reasonable price. I'd buy it. I'd also possibly buy premium audio if it sounds better without the amp installed. Right now it is better than our Camry but not blow me away impressive.

I also have a 500GB hard drive installed, 400GB for dashcam and Sentry and the rest for music.

Do you feel a big difference otherwise? Torque and speed for example?

No posts since Sunday? That was when I placed my very first Tesla order online for an M3 SR+ Blue ext., Black Int., Areo, FSD.
24hrs later I was waiting on sales contact paperwork. Trading in 2017 Volt. Trade-in offer was a fair market trade-in price.

Canadian Federal Gov. Minister of Transportation will be in Montreal conference tomorrow and is expected to divulge more info about the the Canadian Federal Budget EV Rebate which as of late March proposed a limit of MSRP that excluded Tesla.

I'm hoping that my Tesla purchase will qualify for the $5000 proposed EV rebate. It will definitely ease the sting of the FSD upgrade I ticked on the list. I rarely see any Model 3 or any Tesla where I live and commute. GM Volts I see at least 1 or 2 a day of either generation. Had the Model 3 SR+ been available in 2017 I would be driving it already.

Here in Illinois in a Chicago suburb I see maybe one Volt a week but multiple Tesla per day.

I don't think I have ever seen a Bolt on the road. I find that odd as it is a nice car.

My wife saw a Honda Clarity a few days ago. That is like finding a unicorn where we live. We test drove one and while it drove fine the interior was a no-go. Plus the exterior. When I walk into my garage and see our 3 I smile.

Does that combo fall under the $45K price limit for 'Canadian Federal Budget EV Rebate'? If not then why not get an SR with/without FSD initially then upgrade to the plus OTA?

Ordered a pearl white SR+ first thing in the morning when they opened for European sales on the 12th of April. No VIN or expected delivery date yet which feels natural. They doesn't even project a time line when ordering as opposed to AWD which are said to be delivered in May.

But the wait is unbearable, 3 years plus and now on the "home stretch"..

I read that factory is building for your region now, but unfortunately it takes some time to get them on a boat and over there. I believe the plan is to build now, so they can be delivered before the end of the quarter. This would suggest you could get delivery in June?

Yeah, I have gotten all kinds of different responses when asking about delivery time but I think that June could be a fairly decent guess.
One boat is leaving SF today on the 17:th but I think it would be way to optimistic to think it's on there since they didn't release the car for order more then 5 days ago but then again, stranger things have happened.

Ordered my future baby on April 5th

Deep Blue Metallic
Standard Rims
FSD
White Interior

I haven't heard much as of yet - I still don't know who my advisor is, but I called yesterday to get additional information and the store in my area said that they would reach out and get them in contact with me. I have a friend that ordered his on Monday night and heard yesterday! Lucky guy has a model already made and matched to his specs haha. I'm praying I hear something soon, I've been waiting for years to finally be able to order and own a Tesla.
