3/01 order SR+ black / black / earo / autopilot in Montreal. Got a call from delivery specialist at 5pm tonight confirming order and asking for void chèque for financing. 3.75% 60 months RBC. No ETA for vin or delivery.

I have exact same specs incl no financing, except I have a March 2016 reservation. Let’s see if it makes a difference or not since everything is equal. Whereabouts do you live? I’m in Vancouver.

I think my car might be at the front of train but if they build batch orders unless the demand is massive the reservation might not matter as much

I am in Ontario GTA. You should get yours before me. I have read the factory is producing mostly SR+, but have no idea how many are B/W Interior. I have no VIN yet, and understand it is 3 weeks to Ontario, once you get that. You are fortunately much closer to the factory.

This was published today:
Tesla pushes delivery timeline for new standard Model 3 orders as demand soars

"Yesterday, Tesla updated the delivery timeline for the Standard Range Model 3 to “6 to 8 weeks”."

"As for the Standard Range Plus version of the Model 3, it also saw its delivery timeline for new orders pushed – but only by 2 weeks."

No details, as to which segments this applies to (reservation holders, or non, geographic areas etc...).

2018 VIN - But I’m getting the full premium interior and better range for only 400$ more than my original SR+ order

Out of curiosity, how did you work your way into this? With an SR+ on order (which should arrive by the end of the month per my delivery advisor), I'm wondering if I could take advantage of a similar deal. I'd be willing to pay about $500 more than my current order to get the MR, but not much more than that. Should I just call my delivery advisor and ask if they have any 2018s available that they'd be willing to discount?

Yup! Ask them to match you for local inventory they might have. When they give you the VIN do a VIN lookup to confirm the model year and go from there. I didn’t want to risk missing the EV credit so I decided to take them up on this one. My original SR+ order was 39200 this MR is running me 39600!

Wow, thanks! I'll give them a call. My order was $41.5, so if they could get me to $42 or a little above I'd be happy.

3/02 order SR+ black / black / aero / no autopilot, in Montreal. Super excited April 2016 reservation holder. My account still reads
Estimated Delivery: within 2 weeks from order placed date, i.e. mid month which is technically impossible I believe.

No VIN yet. Worried the 8K Quebec EV credit may change April 1st. Hopefully Tesla will compensate somehow if credit disappears and they cannot make the end of month delivery.

If they change it, since you have a very high EV rebate I’d call them and get an inventory car right away.

But I think you will be fine - you don’t have Ford as your premier and money is already allocated. Bonne chance!

Just got off the phone with Tesla sales. They said the text message delivery date ranges were not accurate and that my car was still in production.
Ordered 3/2 SR+ black/black/aero. Text date range was 3/16-3/27

Not accurate? Did they give any more info? I just dont understand why they wouldnt send them out and not be accurate..especially with 11 day span

I called to ask if I should wait until I get a VIN to fill out the loan application and was told the "delivery within 2 weeks" and text message dates are not accurate. The customer support lady was kind of rude. She told me that I am only 1 week and 1 day out from my order so I need to have some patience. But 1 week and 1 day should mean I'm supposed to get my car within 6 days and I have no VIN and haven't been contacted about my trade in.
