I still have a delivery date scheduled for today at 11:30 AM. SA tried to call me and weasel out of the appointment but I told him to leave it as is until we see what happens today, otherwise I will see him at 11:30 for pickup.

My EDD is still holding at the same as yours 09/03 - 09/06. My call yesterday to the delivery center said my car would be there today and should take 1 day to be prepared and that I would get a text today once it hits their facility

Have you gotten better information by calling the delivery center as opposed to the Tesla support number?

The delivery center has been far and away the better place for consistency of information, though your mileage may vary

I ordered my SR+ Friday 8-27-21, originally was scheduled for delivery Sunday 8-29-21. They were unable to give me my car due to the firmware update (I know for a fact that the car is on the lot, confirmed VIN), so they scheduled it for yesterday. Got the call yesterday that they have to move the date out tentatively to 9-22-21. Not happy!

Got the call yesterday that they have to move the date out tentatively to 9-22-21. Not happy!

That just feels like maybe they need a part that is hard to get. So far off, I can't imagine what else it could be if the car is sitting in the lot currently.

unless they cancel your appt I’d say show up 15-20 before your appt. I don’t think they will tell you your car is ready per se.

I have completed all steps including payment and reviewing/signing all docs. My bill of sale etc all show 09/01/2021 sale date and my appointment hasn’t changed, however my status is still “Prepare For Delivery”

Is this normal or did it need to change to Delivery

They let you pay the second you schedule ur appt and then release the docs for e-signing 24hrs prior to your appt. I’d say you have done everything on your part and I guess all we could say rn is good luck and let us know how it goes!

Now I regretted making a 9/5 appt imma call and see if I can advance it.

currently sitting on my flight back to Seattle but just in case they get it early Imma stay in the airport and fly back immediately if my car is ready
