We still haven't seen a picture of this mythical Supercharger on Lanai. If anyone is visiting, please check it out and post a picture in the Lanai thread. Location should be in a new parking lot at 12th and Fraser.

The lack of chargers, and lack of support at the chargers (rest rooms, food…) means reduced interest in Tesla rentals.

In Waikiki you just have to choose a hotel based on charging. When we stay in town we go for Hyatt Centric on Seaside for that reason.

It still makes a circle-island trip a bit complicated for visitors, but not the end of the world.

Yeah, Aiea was years late and grossly under-dimensioned. Interestingly (or not) I have met couple Uber drivers that use it exclusively, so it works for some people.

It was never designed as a permanent charger. Just an opportunity to get a supercharger here fast without permits. Sometimes I think we would've been better off without it. Would've been a lot less complaining. lol.

If Tesla is opening 12 new stalls in Pearlridge/Aiea in Q3 of this year, I would expect construction any time now, if not already.

@Akikiki any chance you can take another look around? I don’t expect construction since the permit site says it’s still in plan review, but there might be utility markings or something else.

@Big Earl , Yes sir, for you, don't mind at all another visit. I can't say how I know, but I now know where. I'll take pics. Gonna wait til weekend, so there's fewer cars to get the pics.

@Big Earl, was in the area today, 12:00 pm. Swung by and took the pictures you asked for. Was also motivated to see how busy it would be during daylight hours. Looks like there will not be much competition for spaces even during a busy week mid-day
