Nope. The trailer in Springfield wasn't a V nose.
Finally - some progress after 6 months of waiting.
Is this one of the new versions (V3) of Superchargers? Just curious and too lazy to read all the previous posts.
Doubt it. V2 probably
Looking forward to this! Will help with my frequent trips to the DC area (and help me avoid Gaithersburg)!
No it's not. At least, it's not according to the plans submitted and approved during the permitting process.

Small bit of work on trenching and concrete form work. Nothing yet that screams this is a supercharger site.
Interesting contractor sign. Wonder if that is real?
I’ll show myself out.
Well I've been asleep since I checked the site just a week ago.
Was looking at supercharge.info today and saw the status changed to 'under construction' as of 13 June. Got excited.
Did not check this thread (and am disappointed TMC didn't give me a notification because, living in Frederick, I've been following and am highly interested). So anyway, I tell Mrs. Nilnoc let's go for a ride!
And here are some more pictures of the construction zone. It's sizable. You can see where the big power boxes will go. The digging so far is just to put curbing behind the parking slots.
It's Christmas in Frederick!
Can confirm they are being put in. Swing by there today. Super excited!
It is real, and it is spectacular!

I did not take pictures today but there is a pile of what looks like wooden fencing like would be used for the enclosure for the switchgear and supercharger cabinets.
No workers on site however.

A bit more work. The 4" square posts for the switchgear/supercharger cabinets fencing are being installed (3rd pix). The 4" posts are on site along with what looks like 5" PVC conduits (1st pix). Also in the 1st pix is the fencing that I reported about earlier. Some workers on site but looks like they are wrapping up for the day.
Update: for some reason my pixs are not uploading. I'll try again later.
Friday June 21 4:30 PM pics upload
I wasn’t getting notifications either.
Oddly looking at pictures I’m not seeing electricial work. It seams to be infrastructure work, like curbing . Unless the conduit work is buried under the dirt already. I see the pipe laying around though.
As someone that drives through Frederick from WV fairly often, glad to see a new SC opening up. Looks like a great location for it.
It did look a little odd at first. That area of the lot did not have any curbing so I guess they are doing that first. I would also guess they are doing the enclosure now so they can get all the concrete work done at the same time. Next week I'll try to get some closer pics. I expect we should start seeing some of that conduct in the trenches.
Monday June 24 7:10 PM definitive proof!
Not that there was really any doubt but I was able to capture a part of the drawings for this site in a picture. There is a blueprint packet that is on the inside of the fencing in a clear holder that I was able to capture a picture of the back which just so happens to be folded in such a manner that you can see the information about the site. Also a picture of the pad and the enclosure.
Well the enclosure/pad photo won't upload. I'll send it up later when I have a better connection.
Missing pix from prior post...
The paper says Gen 2, so I guess that settles that. It's not Gen 3.
Yep. I think so.
