Supercharger - King of Prussia, PA

Coming back to the topic at hand -- this will be a supercharger with 16 stalls in the middle of the PA Turnpike desert. It's likely to be a very heavily used station. Locals, please post daily updates. I arrive on April 28th -- any possibility they will be up and running by then?

Probably not that fast - this township is pretty good but inspections still take a few days and it looks like there's more than a week of work to do. I'm sure others (or myself) will post more pictures later this week.. we locals are excited

I did email a local township inspector asking how it was going; he had an out office message though , returning Monday.

Like everyone on the thread, I want to get a bunch of watts out of this location ASAP - I have free supercharging through end of June. (Got it as a bonus for buying an inventory car before end of Q2 2020.)

This is the site layout. Ovals are installed bases. The square is the location of the cabinets. If you leave a trailer attached then the southern pull in will block a parking lot travel lane and the northern pull in will block 2-3 superchargers.

I just drove past again and the ditch witch mole equipment is done and loaded on a trailer. The original contractors are back at the superchargers pulling the main power feed cables to the individual parking spots. If they keep this pace I could see the pedestals installed and wired by next week.

In all seriousness though I'd really doubt anything at the supercharger has any power at all. Also I'm really trying to respect the work area and not go wandering in.

Slight correction, but the power feed junction /box/ is installed. I don't think there's any wires going through it yet.

My work is done here in Berwyn. I did have access to a Chargepoint station at my office so I was able to juice up before hitting the road. I'll have to check this SC out on another visit. Hope it opens for you guys during 2021!
