This is a trailer hitch friendly spot, designed to be used by pulling your car in nose first. If you’re pulling a trailer you don’t have to unhitch the trailer in order to charge. Also useful if you have be a hitch mounted bike or luggage rack.

The charging stations are onsite but the cabinets are not. They lost two days of work due to weather this week. Energy United also has to do their part.(they use m3 as some company cars.) Target is Dec 2020

Please keep the updates coming. I have a commute from south Charlotte to Winston Salem and back in an SR+. This will be a game changer for me as today I have to make a 30 minute detour through Greensboro to make it back home.

I stopped in Yesterday and took some pics. Looks like all the pedestal bases are installed, and what looks like pedestal boxes are on site. Also looks like a couple of the chargers themselves are on-site.

I agree that this is a perfectly placed supercharger location. I used to drive twice a week from Charlotte to Winston Salem and I would have used this charger many many times back in the day. It’s also perfectly positioned for anyone driving between Charlotte & Raleigh or even the Outer Banks!

You missed part of it. The full statement on the box is "Do Not Stack Over Two High", which none of them are.

archdale doesn't seem to make much sense unless it's just to cover the 74 corridor to winston. There is a sheetz there so from that aspect I get it.

Yes, I think these Sheetz locations (and maybe most sites from this point forward) are not as much about what makes sense as it is about blanketing the area with convenience stops and drawing in customers to the host sites. Which is awesome by the way!
