^ We had a delayed official opening with Poncha Springs CO. As I recall, one of the street light poles was damaged and couldn't be installed. The station was turned on and worked fine -- I used it less than a day later -- but it wasn't added to the Tesla map until the light pole was installed days later. So, it can be little things delaying the official opening.

Best to have a "plan b" in case the new station gets turned off, but you would have to be pretty unlucky for that to happen.

Thank You for all your work getting that Pagosa Springs charger set up, it allowed me to take the scenic route and walk around town while getting the little bump I needed.

Charged today. Great location with shopping and eating diversions. Was some power outages at DMV, Bashas while we were walking around but it didn’t affect charging.
I was there from about noon-1pm and there were a bunch of APS guys with their white trucks working on the power pole near the supercharger, so that probably had something to do with it.

I have since made the crossing from Payson to Deming, NM via Safford and am now plugged in at the Deming supercharger. It wasn't an easy leg, but it did save a lot of time even if I did have to drive kind of slow.

A few more photos.

Charged at Payson today. I was the only one there when I arrived, but 3 more Tesla’s arrived by the time I left. Worked perfectly; got over 110 kW even with over 50% SOC.
I wish all SuperChargers we’re located right near so many great amenities. Subway, Arby’s, Bashas’, and a whole strip mall right there.
Now, if we can get chargers at Show Low and/or Globe, that would make for a great driving loop, including Phoenix.

When charging at Payson, I would usually walk to Starbucks and get a drink and use the restrooms. Are any restrooms open at any of the amenities now?

We didn’t go into Starbucks, but Subway and Arby’s we’re both open for take-out, so I assume the restrooms were open. Bashas’ restrooms were open. And of course Walmart was a short walk away too.

Midday. Not sure what the issue was; they just had a sign at the front of the store that said restrooms were closed. Must have been temporary; maybe a plumbing problem? Or someone made a REAL mess. :(

Closed yesterday around 1500. There was a typical Payson traffic jam, so lots of people in the area. Maybe thta's why Bashas bathrooms were closed.

Also, there were 6 cars at the SC. The most I've ever seen there. Ended up sharing stall 6 with another 3 and was only getting 60kW.

I'll start by saying the Payson SC has always been solid. While a 150 kW location, charging speed has always been reliable and I've never had to wait for a stall......until this weekend. A short line was queued up and I've heard from a couple friends who have also experienced a wait over the last couple of months. This site is a great location at the junction of SR87 and SR260, and has room for upgrade/expansion. I wonder if it is on the radar, considering it is a critical site for routes from the east side of Phoenix to the north and also toward Show Low and beyond to Holbrook. It would be sweet to have some V3 250 kW stalls added like Holbrook and Gallup.

Sparky1, both of those locations have V3s. For Holbrook, it’s the ones further away from Burger King ( close to the trees and it’s 8 stalls) and Gallup, it’s the ones on the other side not facing the hotel( 4 stalls]. Easy way of know is if the handle is solid black and doesn’t have any silver at the bottom of the handle.

I think you misunderstood his post. He's saying he wants v3s put in at Payson.
