Not much change since Thursday, but there is a massive branch that is now is the way.
Funny it seems that even for a charger network, you have to pick a side. While EA picked the biggest chain Walmart, the red and white Tesla picked the stores of the same color.

There are multiple Targets in the Seattle area with EA chargers. I feel that we need redundancy in chargers to support mass adoption, so I hope eventually there are sites with multiple charging station types.
Thanks, @jpbroad ! I'm happy to see the utility transformer vault in in place. Fingers crossed that means the directional drilling is done, as well. I'll be even happier when we see a big green utility transformer sitting on that vault. Depending on how long it takes the utility to get the transformer it needs, and then install it, that can be a long wait. Weeks to months. Recent example: Stockton CA, which appears to have been waiting for a transformer since late March. Hopefully PGE can outperform PG&E.

It looks like the ChargePoint stations will be free. Just saw the same layout of Superchargers and ChargePoints at an in-service location and noted on my ChargePoint App as being free. Not super important for Tesla’s but will be nice for my wife’s Bolt

Some concrete curb work done today. Confirmed that the directional drilling is done. The underground conduit from distribution line utility pole to transformer vault is in place. Hopefully it won’t take a long time for PGE to receive and install the new transformer, and then connect it to the distribution line. Until that happens, this will just sit there looking pretty.
Soon. But in all seriousness, even under the best of conditions, it takes a few weeks to build a SuperCharger. Then factor in issues with electrical inspections, delays from the utility, contractor availability, etc it can easily take months. Some (rarely) have taken over a year...

As of the most recent pictures there was still no transformer. Usually that's the last step of construction but then there's inspections, approval and Tesla final checks.

Not quite ready but close. I stopped by this morning. All of the plastic fencing has been removed. However the individual chargers were not lit. A PGE crew was there. I briefly spoke to a PGE worker. He said that they are doing metering to ensure that it is functioning correctly. He also said that their work should be done by 10/28/20 & there is a projected opening date of about 11/1/20.
