Would be handy if Tesla could find out who went to a fast food joint before they went to that SC, then they could
guide the car back there and flash a message over the centre screen, CLEAN UP YOUR MESS YOU PIGS!

I always take my rubbish with me, but having a rubbish bin there couldn't hurt.

Also I prefer that someone gets drive thru and eats at the supercharger as opposed to leaving the car there for an hour to go eat

New pedestals are being installed today. Will light up nicely at night. Don't come here this evening unless you bring a good book for the wait with 2 being down at a time.

I wonder if the signs will get reinstalled. Oh well, I guess this station doesn't really have a problem with being ICEd. ICEs can't park there when it's TESLAed.

I hate this location so much, I avoided it on my recent two trips from LA to San Diego and back. I found a CHAdeMO near my hotel and charged there for 30 min.

The new signs will remind users that parking and charging on the bank side of the arches,
although very convenient, is not permitted (presumably by Tesla's use agreement with the bank).

Perhaps they might even consider painting the bank side of that curb red.

Yep...that's what the Tesla rep said.. I told her it's very convenient to charge parking there when bank customers Park in the Supercharger spots (which the signs say is allowed)

I doubt it will stop many people. I would certainly ignore the signs if it was the only way to get a charge.

The Tesla employee I spoke with today said that they were replacing the pedestals merely for aesthetic reasons because the originally installed ones were an older less appealing style.

Yes I talk to a rep today there too and expressed how disappointed I was that somebody would steal the original signs on the "Tesla only" parking stalls... I think precautions have been taken to protect against future theft.

I wish they would spend the resources on building a supercharger somewhere else between San Diego and LA. The San Diego supercharger that's coming online soon won't do me much good, since it's so close to home.

Agreed. San Clemente or Oceanside would be good. I suppose San Clemente is too close to SJC, but they got a few of them close together in the LA area...

So we all should observe the new signage asking us not to charge parallel parked on the bank side. It's a bummer as I would always do it that way when there.
