I don't think Gear was trying to be accusatory. He, and the rest of us, would definitely like some details. All the background processes and similar stuff is like heroin to us.

at this point, the only update will be from someone with inside info... For sure, the day construction resumes, we'll get info from one of the many folks that go by the site daily.

I've checked in with our folks up there, and it is looking like the contractor will be on-site to start the trenching at night on or about Wednesday this week. We'll be supporting the effort with overtime on the inspector's side, so it is looking like we should see some action soon...The conductor work / transformer installation is currently being scheduled, so I don't have dates for that yet...But the goal is to get the work done, inspections signed off, and get the station energized by the end of April...

I'm with you. I appreciate RandyS' insight into the issue, and believe what he is saying. It just seems like the goal posts keep getting moved on us.

I understand your skepticism, but it wouldn't make sense to pay even more money at this point to remove all the work completed so far without finishing...It's moving forward...

If nothing was ever put into the ground and the negotiations fell flat, I could see looking for a new site. But we're way beyond that...

FYI, I just swung by there during lunch and the chain-link fencing has been removed and stall cleanup done, except that surrounding the equipment shed immediately adjacent to the main drag (Del Obispo). No contractor personnel were present.
