More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

I-5 to Williams seems the simplest by far. Using the casino restrooms is a great idea though not sure how they feel about people sleeping there. But from Reno I think I'll drive south through the Eastern Sierras. That's how I always go. Any reason not to?

The destination chargers at the casino are so far away from the building and the main parking area, that no one will know that you are there, especially at night with your car plugged in. I bet it is at least 150 yards from the rear entrance to the casino.

It's a model Y AWD, so in theory 320 miles of range. I'm coming down from Ashland.

I wouldn't mind sleeping by I-395 if I found a spot, but having driven this road many times, I don't think there's anywhere to stop this time of year. I looked up the rest areas and the first one is the one coming down from Susanville, i.e. before Reno. Mammoth is a good idea if it comes to that. As long as there are restrooms.

This entire discussion will be moot once they install a supercharger in Susanville and in the quiet corner - is that what it's called? I've been through there a surprising amount of time for its remoteness.

Thank you both for your detailed answers!
On ramps are sometimes the only decent option. Rest stops are hit or miss now, many being closed. Sometimes those restrooms are scarier than a discreet road side pit stop. Walmarts can also be an option if local legislation hasn’t taken them out of contention. Sounds like that and truck stops might not be too plentiful on your route.

We may head south, dicey weather to the west for a few days. What a polar vortex! 0 F in the Ozarks
It got up to a balmy 23º here in the western Colorado mountains, with light snow most of the day. Pretty ordinary for February and I expect that the skiers are enjoying it. I seem to be on the edge of the "polar vortex" and have been enjoying the news reports from the Plains states and the South. :)

Well if you've already driven 395 a lot, maybe just take US95 through Nevada? It is about 25 minutes faster (assuming Furnace Creek as an endpoint) and less prone to bad weather. The supercharger host in Hawthorne, NV is technically listed as a "truck stop," but in these desolate parts, that really just means it has a 24 hour store and offers diesel :) Still, I doubt anyone would mind if you slept at the supercharger there. That supercharger is never full and it's somewhat off to the side from the commotion of the gas station and store. Looks like lows in the 20s and 30s for the upcoming week so expect it to be cold, dry, and windy.

If you take US395, the Mammoth Lakes supercharger would probably be the best one to sleep at. It's an isolated municipal parking lot surrounded by trees. The supercharger in "Gardnerville" would be not as great a spot to sleep, but I doubt they would mind if you did and it's a better half-way point for your drive.

We made it as far as Little Rock, snow the whole way from Ozark. Lots of inexperienced drivers, not stuck but going 30 in a 65 even 4WD trucks.

nice snow art

February 13th:

* Pinnelas Park, FL
* Tampa - West Swann Ave, FL
* Tampa, FL

February 14th:
IMG_5624.jpg
* Gainesville, FL
IMG_5625.jpg
* Live Oak, FL (perfect "urinal rules" spacing)
* Marianna, FL (first SpC where I've forgotten to take a picture... darn it!)
IMG_5626.jpg
* DeFuniak Springs, FL

I will update the spreadsheet momentarily. My home state has 7 chargers; there are 7 chargers in the greater Tampa area. I think the military would call that a "target rich environment." It took me like 30 minutes to grab 3 chargers... crazy! (to me!)

EDIT: Appears I may have a "first" with Marianna, FL. Receipt attached for proof (still CANNOT believe I didn't take a picture. With my cargo pod, I had to park allllll kinds of silly. It was quite a sight.)

As we are honor based, neither a picture nor the receipt is necessary, but I would have enjoyed seeing the "silly" parking with your cargo pod.

Supercharger outages in Texas:

Thanks @Big Earl I was just going to jump in my X and check out the SCer situation in Texas. We are considering leaving today and heading from Little Rock through Dallas down to Él Paso. Once I get past Fort Worth we should be ok. But the road ice and power issues, not to mention full hotels does make me pause.

If Midland, TX is closed, I'd worry about spanning the gap between Sweetwater and Pecos. It's 203.4 miles, which might be a tough one if it's snowing and/or windy. Given the grid situation in Texas, I'd consider going through Oklahoma. Not sure what the status is of various CHAdeMO and J-1772 stations - perhaps that would make it doable.

Yes, OK is looking better right now. But what about the huge 224 mile gap from Ozark to OKC? That’s worse than the midland gap! Probably have to go Ozark to Tulsa to OKC. The southern 10 route is even worse than the 20, multiple chargers down. Roads look ok on the cameras up in OK, and fewer power issues. I have the LR X++ with rated 365 mile range, even so in the winter it’s probably not enough to make the midland gap. The best I could do from Ozark to Little Rock was 365 Wh/mi. I need 20% buffer, and the wind will be working against me. There is a 16 kW charger in Monahans, TX

I'd probably zip up to Catoosa (Tulsa) to split the Ozark to OKC gap. That would add 45 miles to that leg.

Yes, though more like a slog than a zip in the weather and with these road conditions. I-480 in Little Rock is actually drivable, though passing is tricky.

What is the basis for this assumption? Seems like they're having a tough time in West Texas as well.
Based on the weather forecast in Odessa and Él Paso when I looked. It may have worsened. No matter, we are going north to Denver then down to New Mexico, basically detouring around the storm. We are in Wichita now. It was snowing hard in Perry OK, we made it out.
