More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Here’s what I went by in the car. I don’t pull up supercharge.info throughout my travels.

Yes, that's the same name of the supercharger on my Nav screen when I was there in April ("Montreal, QC - Cote Vertu Blvd."). At the time, however, the supercharge.info or PlugShare or the list here simply had it noted as "Montreal" so that's what I used and I don't know that anyone listed it that way until you did.

The Nav screen is available in all vehicles so maybe that should be the master list for location names -- whether the location name changes later or not.

When / if some locations change names then those locations should be updated in the list so everyone has consistent names. Most likely this will be one person updating the entire list rather than everyone being responsible for their own entries but hopefully it doesn't happen too frequently. For now, I'll volunteer to get things consistent in the list and work with Half Dollar Bill as I've already chatted with him about this.

The list that @JSergeant updates periodically brings it all together.

I worked with JSergeant when I was trying to get an accurate count of my own list. I think he was using data from supercharge.info but one way or another we will all work together to keep the list current and accurate.

It does occasionally get confusing. For instance, the google map shows Orlando-Universal Blvd while it’s recognized as and located on West Sand Lake Rd

Exactly. For example, back in May, the location name in supercharge.info for here was "Orlando-Universal Blvd, FL." At the moment, it is listed as "Orlando - W. Sand Lake Rd" or "Orlando - W. Sand Lake Rd, FL" in Tesla, supercharge.info, and PlugShare. In Google Maps it is listed as "Tesla Supercharger at WaWa" but at the same "Sand Lake Rd" address as the others. That means at some point, Tesla changed the location on the Nav screen.

I'm fairly certain PlugShare gets their location feed directly from Tesla as one of the PlugShare Techs mentioned that to me one time. Blueshift has updated supercharge.info accordingly. I'd rely least of all on Google Maps since many locations can be updated by anyone.

I hate moving people ahead of me ;)
You're updated. Be well into the 200's before you get home.

That's understandable :) but if it's any consolation I feel I've really earned these last 25 or so. I't's not at all like it was back in May when I was driving around in sunny California or Arizona and all I had to worry about was traffic. These last ones I've been getting have been driving on some twisty mountain roads in Virginia and West Virginia. Roads that I'm not familiar with at all, and roads made a ton more challenging with all the rain that's been falling lately. I swear, today it must have poured at some point while I was on the way to every SC that I hit. I think I may have only been spared on the last one...thankfully because I got to it at 11PM and I didn't need anymore rain and dark on this trip.

Here are some highlights from today...first let me show an example of a gripe I have with the Nav system. What the car wants me to do, and what the law permits don't always line up... This is just before the Lexington SC.

This is probably the longest double-backs I had to do today in order to add this one charger in Charlotsville. It just didn't work out for me to go to this one and then on to any other one...so in order to have my map look right...I had to make the extra hour detour. :)

I've probably been to 30 different Sheetz locations now. Still haven't bought any of their made to order food. But this location got my count up to 200...!!!

Here's the chargers that I used today:

Weston, WV
Huntington, WV
Charleston, WV
Mt. Hope, WV
Wytheville, VA
Lexington, VA
Charlottesville, VA
Mt. Jackson, VA
Strasburg, VA
Martinsburg, VA

There are three more that I can (will) get on the way home. But there's always the possibility that a couple could open between now and Saturday (I'm talking to you York and Dublin).

Feels good to be in the 200 club. Time to get some sleep...it was a long and rainy day.

I thought this might interest PLUS EV or others. From a Tesla stock discussion board that I frequent:

I work at a casino in SW Michigan that is giving away a Tesla Model 3 on Saturday, August 4th at 9pm Eastern.

This is the 1st time that we have given away a Tesla so I am excited to see what the turn out is going to be like. If you are in the area, stop in, get a players card, play to earn entries and maybe you can drive home in your new Tesla!!!

Forgot to add that the casino is Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, MI

Welcome to the 2nd Century Club, @IT Geek !!!

You are the 17th person to reach this milestone ... and just 2 months after you reached 100! You hit #50 on May 14th and #100 on May 25th. Great perseverance.

You've been updated on the list.

Don't rely on my spreadsheet as a gold standard. I just take the Supercharge.info name when the location is first listed, and it's hit and miss as to whether I update it for any later changes - I usually do it if a change is needed to eliminate ambiguity, or if I have it on a trip list and realize the name has changed, or if I'm entering someone's trip stats and they are using a different name than the one I have, so it draws my attention to a name change

True, but at least it is a start and a great reference so we'll see if we can figure out the best way to keep everything organized.

Again, welcome to the 2nd century ranks! If you end up passing through my area on your way home then I'll show you the 200 Club secret handshake.

You might not have enjoyed the twisty mountain roads due to the rain but West Virginia is my home state so I grew up bicycling on some of those roads in the northern part of the state and then driving through them and absolutely love them. Maybe that's why I prefer them to the 50+ miles of dead straight highway across some of the states out West. The Consumption tab on the Energy Graph is also fun to view after some of the mountain roads.

Enjoy the rest of your trip.

I love driving on the West Virginia highways - great mountain roads and usually not too much traffic, though definitely not so much fun in a heavy downpour.

In fairness, when it wasn't pouring down rain I absolutely enjoyed driving thru that area. When the sun was out, I was zipping right along and really having a fun time on the drive. You're right too...I much prefer those roads over let's say the Ohio Turnpike.

Also, I know exactly what you mean by the consumption graph...ti's like a Tesla generated topo map of the area... :)

At the beginning of the month on our trip we had stopped for lunch. It was getting dark outside (and it was close to noon) so my wife said we should leave soon. As soon as we got in the car rain drops starting falling, then we were in a Heavy Downpour. My wife wanted to wait for it to stop, but silly me, I said we could be there for hours so lets get back on the freeway and maybe we will drive out of it.

Well, in less than 50 feet we drove out of it on to dry road. Looking back we could not even see the restaurant due to the heavy rain. For those of you who live in this kind of think it is nothing. We live in San Diego so when it is sprinkling outside it is considered severe weather.

Sounds like San Diego needs Arizona's CloudWatch program, unfortunately now deceased: #9815

I wish I could find a link to a copy, it was advertising at its finest.

Unlike you guys (Bighorn, PLUS EV, Darren), I don't do snow and ice - I just stay home until it melts!
I learned my lesson in Alberta, and then again in Michigan:), so it’s especially noteworthy coming from @IT Geek, a Michigander. I’m done chasing winter chargers. Rain can certainly approach conditions of a whiteout though, especially with poor lane markings. I’ve been out in it this week, though Baltimore is setting records.

We learn our lessons, but that doesn't stop us from getting into those situations! :) I have mostly sworn off winter driving, but sometimes you just get caught off guard when in Canada or the Mountain time zone. I thought my spring trip was so well planned. I left in March during a break in the weather so I didn't have to worry about snow in the Siskiyous, then traveled across the southern US for the rest of March. I figured going across the Northern US and Ontario and Quebec would be fine in April, but I spent most of that month trying to dodge the snow lol.

As for the casino car drawing, going from memory that casino is fairly crooked so if I won the Model 3, they'd probably steal it from me (I'm not even joking). The tribes in that part of Michigan have earned their poor reputations. Before buying my Model S in 2016, I used to chase around some casino drawings and I ran well below expectation in car drawings. I estimated I probably "deserved" to win 2 cars, but I didn't win any. Most of the cars I wasn't interested in, so I would have either sold them or taken the cash option, but there were a couple that I just would have taken the car and if that were the case, I never would have started driving Teslas, so maybe it's for the best that I never won one.

Fortunately my luck was better in cash drawings. Must have won well into six figures on those over the course of a few years. One time the grand prize was getting up on stage and playing Deal or No Deal with an expectation of about 25k. I somehow managed to pick all the wrong boxes and took the bankers offer of only 8k once there were basically no big prizes remaining. The crowd was really howling at me for that one :)
